Chianti's Ristorante Italiano offers a full bar and wine bar and a happy hour menu from 4-6:30 daily. We make all of our pastas in-house from scratch and use the best ingredients many which are imported from Italy in our recipes. Our plates are traditional Tuscan cuisine developed from generations of passed down recipes. If you prefer to enjoy your mouthwatering Italian cuisine from the comfort of your home while watching Netflix, order takeout!

At Chianti's Ristorante Italiano we believe in creating an atmosphere where great food, delicious wine and excellent entertainment come together to become the supreme dining experience in Sarasota. Our Italian Chefs are the real deal. They make all of our pastas in-house from scratch and use the best imported ingredients in our house recipes.
Our Italian chefs use the best local and imported ingredients to create our signature dishes. In addition to our Dinner Menu, we also have a Daily Specials Menu featuring new recipes and seasonal favorites. All of our pastas are fresh and made in house. We have several vegetarian options and can accomodate special diet restrictions.
An ideal setting for your private parties, company parties, club meetings, business get-togethers and festive holiday celebrations. Our Private Dining Room is separate from the rest of the restaurant and features its own wine and cocktail bar. Available for rental at regular hours or special hours by demand.
We are located in South East Sarasota in the intersection of Clark Rd. and Sawyer Rd. We are close to the interstate and only 10 minutes from the world famous, Siesta Key beach. If you call outside of our dinner hours, leave a message and we will write you down in the book or call you back if necessary.

It is good have a nice Italian place where they make pasta from the scratch. Our expectation was too high because of the rating. However, we dissapointed their service. Waiting so long to get drinks etc. Even i needed to ask.again and remind again for the server. We waited to come check so long. Giftcard, two years old, did not go though process and waiting so long after finished everything. Could be done different way? Is it our problem not using gift card during Corona virus pandemic? Over rating and over pricing. Disappointment for my hudsband birthday. Food was good by the way. Also also over

I used to love Chianti's. I don't know what happened but this restaurant went totally down hill in just a shorter time.
I can't believe how bad my meal was tonight. My last time at Chianti's.
WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MEAL?
I come to Chianti around 8 or 9 times a year. It was always my favorite restaurant. I always order the same thing: Veal Picatta.
In the past the potatoes were broasted, the vegetables were crisp and the veal was tender plus the sauce was light and lemony.
This time, the potatoes were mashed and tasted like instant mashed potatoes, the vegetable was a clump of broccoli that was

Those was one of the absolute best experiences I have had with an event at a resteraunt. The food was excellent, price extremely good and staffs attention to detail amazing. It was a difficult day for my family and friends and Chianti help make the day tolerable and in fact everyone left with full bellies and extremely happy with the staff. Thank you Chianti

They have amazing food and top service. Also they have live music some nights. You can also watch sports games at the bar. It was one of the last places I was able to take my father to for my parents anniversary. My father was full of compliments, which was a hard thing to accomplish. So Chiantis = 👍👍

The food is very good and ask for Ashley if you want a good server.
The rating is less than perfect for two reasons.
1. The entertainer, a good imitation of Frank Sinatra, has his volume turned up too high for people who enjoys music as back ground and conversation as the main course after the food.
2. We made reservations a day in advance for 3 people and was seated at a table for 2, yet there were larger tables empty from the time we arrived to the time we left 2 hours later.
The Host should have more brains, especially in off Season, to retain the new clientele from being turned off from
