Pok (pronounced PO-kay), means 'to slice or cut'. This unique culinary style was created by early Hawaiians and is still a mainstay in Hawaii today. Pok began with fishermen seasoning the cut-offs from their catch to serve as a snack. They tossed sliced fresh raw fish with Hawaiian salt, seaweed and Kukui nuts in a bowl with a soy sauce, green onions, and sesame oil.

I’ve previously order food via Doordash (several times) and I always wanted to visit and dine in. I did a couple of days before leaving my hometown for a year, and I wish I would’ve gone earlier; atmosphere was great and peaceful. I asked both cashiers if it was okay if I stayed for a while since I needed to take a couple of tests online- they were very polite and also checked on me a few times as well. Packed the remaining of my food to go and offered to refill my water in the meanwhile, even though water is pretty much self served.

I went today and yesterday and enjoyed both dishes. First day I had the tuna poke bowl with varieties of good toppings. Love the crunchies and the spicy Mayo! Get the avocado too!
Today I came back for the Raman Tonkotsu. I enjoyed this soup it was rich broth with scallions little spice and corn. The egg in the dish was just ok but I selected chicken as my protein abs it was good! Let's discuss the noodles. Yes love the noodles ! Lots of them In this dish ! Coming back for the steam buns next time!

I stopped by Fushipoke in Sarasota today for the first time. It did not disappoint! The restaurant was spotlessly clean. My daughter ordered steam buns that she devoured as they were so delicious. I ordered a fresh tuna poke bowl and spicy ramen soup to go. The tuna poke bowl was one of the best I have had in Sarasota. The ingredients were very fresh, and it tasted so good. There was a lot in the bowl and I was unable to finish it all, so I have the rest for leftovers. The staff were very friendly and very efficient. I would give it 5 stars and will definitely be back! You must give it a try!

Pretty, modern, cool and chic furnishings, built to impress. -- So, if you want a $15 bowl of ramen noodles, with two tiny Indonesian farmed shrimp battered and sold as Japanese Tempura shrimp, thrown in as decoration -- . Great option for ramen can be found at Fushipoke. This place looks small from the front entrance, but keep walking to the very back and you will find a nice lounge area with couch and table and games! The best area for comfy and warmth. These are the kinds of places we are always looking for.
Fushipoke serves poke. They also have bowl options for the non poke, seafood people which can be chicken, pork, or tofu.
They also have ramen which is exactly what I was looking for. And lastly steam buns.
The Tonkotsu ramen with tempura shrimp was perfect for me!

This place is so yummy and different from all other places around. I came here with my boyfriend he got the Shoyu and I got the spicy ramen with some stream buns. The food was great the spicy ramen was perfect! Not only dose this place create great food that are working on sustainability I loved the fact that was reusable chop sticks for grabs! They also have a great variety on the drinks!

While I'm not usually one for Poke bowls, FushiPoke did not disappoint with their knowledgeable staff and high quality ingredients. Even though they were out of fresh tuna - which is understandable - we were able to substitute for another source of protein. If this is the type of cuisine you like, you can't go wrong heading on over to FushiPoke!

Cute little place. The ramen was okay. It has a nice large portion of noodles. The shiitake mushroom had a sour taste to it. I liked The corn in the tonkotsu ramen. It tasted fresh cut and grilled. The pork belly in both ramen were tough. It needs to be simmered a little longer. The soft egg was perfect.

Our experience here was fantastic! The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful in assisting us with our selection, and the food came out quickly. Fushipoke is the poke bar to go to in the Sarasota area. The fish is very fresh, the variety in sides and toppings to put on your poke bowl is fantastic and very diverse. You know there is love and effort put into this place with not only the food, ingredients, and drinks, but also the design of the restaurant, the feeling, the branding, vibe, and service! Great food, warm and welcoming environment! Will definitely be back! We both had Ramen bowls. Mine, the Miso, which was fantastic. Comforting and filling without being heavy. Our daughter had the Tonkotsu… which looked amazing as well. We also tried the Pork Belly Steam Roll- I had never tried pork belly, and the crunch of ot with the soft, sweet steam roll was absolutely delightful!
