Clayton and Barbara were absolutely phenomenal. They spent a full 12 hours with me in order to make sure we got the exact shots that I needed. I expressed from the start to them that I wasn’t very photogenic. Clayton said “we will fix that by the time you leave here” and they certainly did. The shots tuned out 10x better than I could have expected and I wouldn’t trust anyone else at this point to take my shots. Thank you Clayton and Barbara for everything!!!

Wow oh Wow! I LOVED working with Clayton Hall and Empire West Studio in Tempe Arizona !
Clayton invited me to face and arm paint some talent models a few years ago and I was BLOWN AWAY by his OUTSTANDING and colorful and photography and darkroom ARTISTRY!
Talented individuals including models, actors, fire dancers, performing artists, face and body painters...and print media buyers such as fashion editors, art directors and high end magazine producers WILL TOTALLY BENEFIT from having their photography and talent portfolios created and produced by Clayton Hall and his artistic team.

I have known Clayton Hall, the President of Empire West Studios, since our college days at Villanova University, where he earned a degree in Engineering. Clayton has many talents, one of which is Photography. He always had an eye for constructing a remarkable picture. He literally could take an ordinary situation and produce an extraordinary image. Clayton always had an eye for detail. His engineering background gives him an advantage because he can "build" a scene to exacting standards. He is not only a scientist, but is an artist and combines the best of both. I highly recommend Empire West Studios

It was such a pleasure interning for Clayton and Barbara at EWS while going to school in Phoenix. I appreciated their combined talents and years of studio and field experience manipulating light in motion through the lens. I recommend them both as a great Studio to sharpen your photographic craft as well as a great photographer to highlight your natural talent through the camera. Highly knowledgeable and skilled!

I had been recommended Empire West Studios by my girlfriend's sister who had got some head shots done. I wanted a few of my own, so thought I'd give Empire a try. I checked out their website first and was very impressed with the stuff they had done previously, so thought I'd visit (last weekend). I'm really glad I did.
Clayton was very helpful - and patient - with me, and really got me into the spirit of the photo session: I could immediately tell that he knew how to get the best shots possible, plus he had some cool ideas that I hadn't thought of. Barbara's make-up was very minimal, and the session
