Cedar Shores Cabins are located on the beautiful west and northwest shores of crystal clear Higgins Lake in Northern Michigan - five miles west of Roscommon. We have small, medium, and large cottages available for daily, weekend or weekly rental - twelve months a year. Every cabin is situated in a lovely wooded setting with breathtaking lake views.
But don't let the rustic environment fool you - each cottage features full modern amenities including cable TV and dishwashers. Voted the sixth most beautiful lake in the entire world - Higgins Lake was formed as a glacial ice sheet retreated. The Cut River connects Marl Lake to Higgins Lake, providing ample opportunity to fish for perch, trout and pike.

The Gray Lady is a lakefront, two bedroom getaway on beautiful Higgins Lake in Northern Michigan - five miles west of Roscommon. Situated on a gorgeous wooded lot with breathtaking lake views, the Gray Lady can sleep up to 6-7 adults. The Lake: Crystal clear, able to walk 100 – 150 yards into the lake and have the water only reach waist level and kayaks for easy paddling along the shore.
Location: Excellent for quick day trips to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Cross Village, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island and Traverse City. The Silver Dollar Saloon is the place to go for pizza.
People: The owners happened to be in one of the other two cabins available for rent and they were fun, generous, kind and enjoyable to be around during the day and into the evening. The renters in the third cabin were a pleasure to meet, including their

Our families stayed here in all 3 cabins and it was such a great experience!! All 3 cabins were super clean. Higgins Lake is absolutely beautiful. You have access to the lake and 2 docks, plus kayaks and firepits. It was a great experience for our 3 families and our kids, who ranged from the ages of 1 to 12. Looking forward to making more fun family memories here!
