Fought's Resort boasts 330ft on beautiful Houghton Lake with easy access to the lake for snowmobiles and ATV's. Boasting over 22,000 acres of water Houghton Lake is the largest inland lake in Michigan. Established in 1947, we offer six log cabins and two wood frame cabins on a tranquil lake front setting.

The cabins are like stepping back into time. Very clean and quaint.Great fishing and boats that you can rent. Lots to see within easy driving distance. By car or side x side. The host Rick and Nancy go above… and beyond in helping you. They are wealth of information. Call ahead in advance as soon as possible for they are very popular and very busy during the summer. Thanks for the good times and with many more to come.

Rick & Nancy were fantastic hosts ! The entire resort is beautifully managed and in excellent condition. From the grounds, amenities, cabins, beach, boats all of the offerings of Fought’s Resort are perfect.

Rick and Nancy are amazing! I come every summer with my best friend’s family and every year the place gets better and better! They are such kind people and really put that personal touch into each cabin so you feel like you’re home! This year was no exception and I’m already looking forward to next summer!

Had a great first time at Foughts Resort,its perfect for the people wanting to ice fish. You can pull your machines right up to your cabins with lake access just feet a way. There’s also plenty of parking for… trucks and trailers and also just a few minutes away from the gas station, restaurant and bait shop. Oh and the fishing was great!!!!
