All our custom made garments are individually hand cut to provide exacting standards in fit and accuracy. Having shoes custom made for you used to be a rite of passage. Today, there are only a few custom shoemakers still working in the United States. We have been very fortunate to be selected to work with a unique group of custom shoemakers in Italy and Spain.
ONE has a simple philosophy of crafting the highest quality and best fit in Rochester. Our custom garments are designed to represent the client as the best version of themselves. All of our custom garments are individually made by hand to provide exacting standards in fit and accuracy. Our quality of make is superior, as we only use the finest fabrics from Italy and England, and employ the most experienced custom tailors in the industry.
We take pride in working with the finest custom shoe makers in Europe. Each pair of shoes is uniquely made in Italy and crafted from a selection of fine whole grain leathers. They are then personalized and styled, ensuring no two pair of shoes are alike. These shoes are hand crafted and a number of measurements and tracings are made of each foot, to create a perfect fit.
When selecting fabrics, we take every necessary step in considering the client's overall fit and personal style desired, right down to the smallest details. The first is an American cut, it is fuller through the body and pants. The second is a British cut, slimmer with a tapered body, shorter jacket and rise.
We will guide you through the process of selecting fabrics that fit your particular lifestyle. Whether you travel a lot or are looking for a cloth for that special occasion, let us explore your fabric options together. We offer traditional English fabrics such as Holland & Sherry and Dormeuil, as well as, the most technologically advanced fabrics from Loro Piana, Vitale Barbaris and Zegna of Italy.

Wonderful experience with ordering a custom suit. My small stature usually condemns me to ill-fitting (and usually cheaply constructed) suits. This includes online MTM companies. Went to ONE and was treated by Vince with professionalism. He explained every step of the process from materials to how a suit should look and feel very clearly. At no point during my initial consultation did he pressure me into purchasing anything. As custom clothing was unfamiliar territory for me, Vince also encouraged me to push past some boundaries on tastes and trends I have been taught to be conventional. Will definitely

I have never been happy with how an off- the- rack suit fit me, even after alterations. I found the jackets tight and restrictive in the shoulders and arms. The pants were loose in the waist, and baggy. I have been lifting weights most of my life and decided to treat myself to a custom suit. I knew very little about what to expect in shopping for a suit, but Vince made me feel very confident that this was going to be a positive experience. He took all my measurements, and provided expert tips as to what would look best on my build. I explained the look I wanted, and Vince delivered!

There is a saying that "the clothes make the man". It is more accurate to say that "Vince makes the clothes that make the man". My husband needed a suit for our daughter's wedding. Knowing that he is a difficult fit due to scoliosis, we decided to try One Clothier for his suit. When I began the search for a suit for our wedding I was less than impressed with a few experiences I had around the Rochester area. 4 days before our wedding we found ourselves in terrible trouble. I called Vince in a panic. He was able to calm me down with his knowledge and professionalism.
