This company was amazing! They were very personable and accomodating. We decided we needed a chair for our companion who was having difficulty touring for long periods. They were able to produce a scooter well suited for her an hour after we called and made everything as easy as could be. They picked it up at the hotel when we were done.

This company was phenomenal. My father in law was visiting and we needed a wheel chair, they suggested an electric scooter which worked wonderfully. We were able to reserve it early and the price was very affordable. The customer service was wonderful. They offer a delivery service so we had the scooter available when he arrived. When we got it they gave clear instructions on how to use and care for it. I would definitely use this company again. Great place.

So accommodating and so friendly with amazing rates! Couldn't be happier with the services provided at Tom's; my mother is elderly and doesn't get around very well and I just took an exciting new job downtown and wanted to show my mother the riverwalk; I reached out to the fine folks at Tom's and they met me outside my office with a wheelchair! (my office being pretty much next door :) We had such a great time tooling around all morning and my mother had a blast zipping around on the motorized scooter! Thank you so much to the folks at Tom's!

I recently rented an electric scooter from Tom's for my dad. The scooter was dropped off on time (even earlier than expected) and picked up from our location. The scooter was in excellent condition, and fully charged. The price was fair compared with other rental companies in the area. I was able to cancel up until a day before with no charge if needed. I would definitely use this company again.

Best decision made on this trip. My daughter’s foot was swollen and it hurt her to walk. She felt she was slowing the group down. We rented a scooter from Tom’s for her. Their employees could not have been any sweeter. John was so busy that day but he was still extremely courteous and respectful. I begged him to give me a few minutes of his time. He took my details, brought out the scooter and off we went on our way. We had so much fun that day. Thank you so much, John.

This rental was a lifesaver! My husband is disabled and navigating the Riverwalk in San Antonio couldn't have been done without it. The salesperson was great, the price was super affordable. I rented one of their motorized scooters and the entire process was quick, easy, and efficient. The people we dealt with had professional and wonderful attitudes which made this process even more enjoyable. The scooter we received was in excellent condition; we had no problems using it! Whomever thought of this business for the downtown area (technically anywhere really) is a genius. This allows alot of handicap or people who just need extra assistance to enjoy his/her time without having to lag behind or stay behind. They offer regular wheelchairs and motorized scooters, which is what we opted for so we didn't have to push her lol. My mother-in-law was very grateful for this and the prices were reasonable. Plus you don't have to bring it back, you can possibly leave it at certain hotels when you check out. I truly appreciate this business for providing this optional service to

Outstanding business run by outstanding professionals. Everyone there makes you feel welcome and important. Extremely friendly and they do everything to make sure you have what you need. The wheelchairs are like brand new and if there are issues, they will come to you to fix. Hope to never have to use a wheelchair again but if I do, I will be coming to Toms for it.

We traveled to attend my nephew's BMT Graduation for the week's ceremonies. Tom's Wheelchair Rental was recommended by some of the moms of previous graduates. They were so helpful and reasonably priced. $50 Total/5 days and $35 for dropoff and pickup. They were awesome with communication and conveniently dropped off at our AirBNB and picked up at same location as well. Completely recommend using them when visiting San Antoinio. Thank you!

We visited San Antonio for a ship's crew reunion. My husband has a bad hip and can't walk very far. We reserved a motorized scooter from Tom's and it was a lifesaver. The service we received from Tom was phenomenal. The scooter was at our hotel when we arrived and we left it at the hotel desk when we checked out. Nothing could have been simpler. We decided to keep it for an extra day and Tom did not charge us. Tear down and reassembly for transporting in a car was very easy and straight forward. I found them online. Communicated through email and they answers all my questions quickly. I got a simple wheelchair for a week. $50. Easy to use. They dropped it off and picked it up.
I was the person pushing another person. A lot of the area (river walk, The Alamo) has cobble stones and is very bumpy. My "passenger" didn't like it. A scooter would have probably been better.
