Our roots can be traced back to a small town in Ohio many years ago. In 1952, Jack Wisman decided to try his luck in the family business and began fixing appliances out of his garage. Soon, he had built up enough clientele to open his own store. Shortly after, Jack experienced more growing pains and built the current location on Fernhill Avenue in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

So our new dryer stopped working about ten days ago. Warranty people were not helpful at all so I tried to fix it myself and couldn't. Called this local business, the guy replaced the motor and didn't charge me a thing. He took pictures of my receipt from Menards and said he will charge the warranty company. 🙏 just another reminder to shop local folks!

I purchased a used refrigerator on 8/26/21. I was told their delivery was 3 weeks out so I decided to pickup myself. The salesman told me that if I pickup that they would not send service to my home and that I would have to bring the unit back in to the store for the 30 day warranty to be valid. I told him that would not be an option as I only had help with the pickup but I asked if something was wrong, could I bring the part in to have it replaced as a part of the warranty. He confirmed and told me that all of the used equipment is inspected when it comes in and anything faulty was replaced prior

3 weeks ago, my wife & I went appliance shopping. We needed a new stove & refrigerator. We had researched & reviewed brands & models, so we had a good idea of what we wanted. Prior to going into the store, I called and spoke with Gary. He was very friendly & answered all my questions. When we arrived, we were greeted immediately & helped by Dave.
