How styles change, boomerang back and the story each snip of hair and color tells about what phase my client was entering or escaping from. How it impacts them more than just a new look, but how they are inadvertently creating a timeline of their life.

I was referred to Melissa and I've been going to her for a few years now. She's obviously a great stylist, colorist, etc but more importantly she is a great listener and asks the right questions when discussing what you would like done or what look you're thinking of doing and makes sure it will work with your type of hair, your face shape, etc etc. She's always willing to try to fit someone in if possible and I always leave there feeling better than when I went in. Never in a million years did I expect to still be able to have Pinterest worthy hair in my 50s. Taylor, Melissa's sister, is exceptional at cutting in layers and has an eye for the color that works best with your features. She brings out the best in you! The compliments keep coming, and what's awesome, from women half my age. The shop is beautiful, very clean, and all precautions taken while we exit this pandemic. And, it's in downtown Reading on a street that has plenty of places to grab a fabulous lunch or even right next door for a delicious latte or cap.

I didn't think I would ever be able to find a replacement for my hairdresser when I moved from Rhode Island but I definitely did! Melissa was so sweet, I felt like I have been seeing her for years! She nailed my hair color and cut. I kept the first cut modest just in case but I will be going full out at my next appointment in six weeks! Plus she is around the corner from my house in the cutest salon, the decor is really cute. I love Bisou and love, love, love my hair!!! Thank you Melissa!!!!

I can't say enough about Melissa! I started seeing her on a friends recommendation, and I am a believer. Melissa has worked her magic on my hair, wether it was long or short, light or dark. She always knows exactly what I am asking for even though I do not have any idea what I am talking about. She is not only a hair dresser, but a mind reader. And her studio is absolutely adorable. And there is free parking!
