Services
Brazilian Blowout are for anyone who has frizzy, damaged or processed hair. We have performed the treatment on every hair type (fine/course/frizzy/curly), as well as hair that has been permed, Japanese straightened or has extensions. The hair will be left totally frizz-free and shiny. It is effortlessly manageable and will provide body and bounce.
Hair extensions can add color, add length and/or fullness to human hair. Our Stylists are trained in many varieties of hair extension methods by incorporating additional human hair with your own natural hair, using permanent and semi-permanent techniques, for the utmost natural look. We offer a complimentary consult prior to your installation service, in order to determine the best method, brand, length and custom color.
Classic Eyelash Extensions are single lash extensions. Each natural eyelash gets isolated and one extension is applied to each natural lash. These extensions come in various lengths, widths and curls. The technician will choose a look to replicate your natural eyelash, and suit your needs. The result is a set of luscious yet natural appearing eyelashes.

J Michaels Salon has been my go-to hair salon for the last 5+ years. Not only are they talented, they are extremely professional. The salon is clean, vibrant, and welcoming. The staff is reliable, receptive, and respectful. Cristina is my hair stylist, she never disappoints. Marisa and Lindsey have provided bridal services, which exceeded expectations. I've been going to J Michaels for over a year and I'm glad I found this place. It's easy to make an appointment. I'm greeted warmly when I get there, and I've never had to wait to get into the chair when I've shown up for my appointment. Lindsey is great at giving great advice on how I should style my hair and she does a great wash and cut. I highly recommend J Michael Salon and especially Lindsey.

Marisa the owner is just awesome and since she’s been out with her first born I have been able to schedule with both Lindsey and Christina. I love that I can book appointments on the website because my schedule is unpredictable and now that I’ve had appts with all and they all do a great job on my hair and for me it’s a schedule thing I can now just go on find a time and the flexibility of any stylist it’s perfect. They are meticulous about cleanliness too. Very proud of them to get through this past year which was so hard for small businesses they have just done an amazing job. So try

Great hair stylists! I’ve been cutting my hair with Michael for almost 4 years now and he is the first stylist I found who can make my hair (fine straight hair) look like it has volume. Also, he has created such a warm and comfortable atmosphere in his salon!

My hair has changed drastically this past year due to a health issue, and I have been nervous to get it cut since it is so different from it's usual texture and thickness. Melissa did a wonderful job, is very knowledgable and recommended helpful products. She tamed the weird mess my hair has become, and for the first time in a long time, at least my hair looked like the old "me" again when she was finished. I'm very grateful!

I came to Reading for a 6-month business/personal assignment, and, of course, needed to find a stylist while in the area. I came across the J. Michaels Salon, and have been very satisfied with my experience there.
I have a short haircut and very thick hair, and it's unusual to find a stylist who handles it well from the get go. My stylist Amanda nailed it. I was super pleased and eager to go back again. The prices are reasonable/standard to the industry. The facility is clean and open. And the online scheduling is user-friendly. They took great care of me, even though they knew I would be a short
