Calco Tax Services was established in Rocklin, CA in 1999 and is family owned and operated by husband and wife team Ben and Darlene Calhoun. We pride ourselves in providing our clients with the utmost in accuracy, integrity and professionalism for all of our clients. It is our goal, and delight to provide you the lowest tax burden and highest refund allowable by law.
The following are many of the items you will need to file your State and Federal Income Tax returns. Keeping good records can lower your tax burden. If you receive or pay alimony, a copy of your written separation agreement or the divorce, separate maintenance or support decree. Prior years will continue to be deductible and reported as income.
You should get your refund check within 3 weeks of filing your Federal Tax Returns. If you haven't received your refund the IRS has a secure link to input your information to give you a status update. Calco Tax Services can process your tax returns even if you do not live in California. If we prepared your tax returns and you have not received your refund timely, please give us a call and we will research for you.
Depending on your filing status and income threshold will tell you if you even need to file. However, even if you are not required to file taxes, it may be advantageous to file so you can get a refund of the taxes you had withheld out of your paycheck. In addition, you may be eligible for tax credits.
From Sacramento/Roseville (off I-80) take the Rocklin/Taylor Rd exit and go back over the freeway and make a slight right. In.7 mile (you will pass Cattlemen's restaurant on the right) at the second stop light, make a left turn on Sunset Blvd. From Auburn, CA off I-80 area, take the Rocklin Rd Exit and make a right.

Ben and Darlene have that personalized,detail oriented, tax prep touch. I am extremely happy I found them on yelp. This was my first tax return with them and I am very pleased with the results. I also had my partnership returns done and Ben was very knowledgeable about the tax liability and how it related to all of the partners. I would highly recommend them. They even extended me a 1st time client special price. It felt like I was working with an old friend.

Calco Tax Service is by far the best tax advisors in the area. We've been going to them for the last four years. They are efficient, always ready to explain the process, and have consistently and professionally got the most back in refunds for us. They are superior to franchise tax filing businesses, and you should never go anywhere else. Trust is key, and they provide it with above and beyond expectations. I was introduced to this tandem four years ago and I will never go anywhere else. I can't praise them enough!

I have been going to Ben since my first job at 16. His help has been immeasurable. He has helped me navigate all life's tax changes from marriage and children to home ownership, home sale, right-offs and business ownership. Ben and Darlene go above and beyond tax preparation. They are very thorough and prepare me for what I will need to have for my tax preparations year after year. I will never go to H&R block again because their prices are outrageous and the customer service is not there. Cal Co Tax have very reasonable prices for tax returns. Ben is such a pleasant CPA to work with. I cannot say enough good things about working with them. I do not think that anyone will be disappointed with their services.
