Most knowledgeable staff in the business who are more than willing to help you. Great products at good prices. If it pertains to hardware they have it. Everything from plumbing to gardening, Spencer's hardware is the place to go. They also sale chainsaws, weed eaters and have parts for same. So check out Spencer's hardware for you next project for that home town friendly service

I like the small town business and their but I have been in there 5 times now and only 2 times have they ever asked me if I needed help. All 5 times I get to the register and they ask me if I have their rewards program and I say "no or I don't know about it" they have never once asked me if I would like to sign up or tell me about it. I have called and spoke with the manager Jack and he said he would fix that, that was about 2 weeks ago. Went in today and the same thing, couldn't find anyone and at the register again, didn't try to see if I wanted to sign up.. Need some work on customer service

Won’t price match against Lowe’s (their major competitor in town).

Since the business wanted to reply, they are actually correct, the two items were not the same. Ace was charging almost 50% more for an inferior product.
I wanted to price match a Dewalt DC 356B that Lowe's had for sale for $99 against Ace's Dewalt DC354B for $145. Lowe's product is the newer version, is better, and is cheaper than Ace's. So I guess you got me! You are selling inferior products for more money and refuse to compete. Don't I look like a fool!
