While volunteering as an EMT at his local fire department, Safe Reflections founder and 3M chemical engineer Bob Koppes discovered there was insufficient reflective material on garments worn by his fellow first responders. After developing some new adhesives to allow reflective trims to adhere to work uniformed he quickly realized the widespread need for highly visible garments across many industries.

HiViz is our Biz. Our high visibility striping features fluorescent color webbing and silver reflective material that can be designed to withstand the harshest work and cleaning environments. Available in economical Home Wash versions or more durable Industrial Wash varieties that meet or exceed industry wash standards.
3M Scotchlite Reflective Material - Series 5500 Comfort Trim was born from our patented Airex Segmented breathable product and has been sold under the Comfort Trim name since 2007. It can be easily applied to multiple fabric substrates, including stretch fabrics, and is available in several wash protocols.
