We have been dealing with this company for at least 10 years now. Over this period of time, we have purchased 2 Braunability vans, multiple power chairs and service. Gus is an honorable and decent man and conducts his business accordingly. He has always treated us fairly. I have and would again recommend him to anyone that needs this type of equipment or service. Gus fixed me up with a very reasonable and sturdy used lift for my Subaru Forester back in 2016 when I became disabled. I had just received a Scooter from Medicare and I could not afford a brand new Lift for the back of my vehicle. Last April of 2018 I purchased a used Hyundai Entourage Van with extremely low miles and Gus not only took my lift in on trade but again gave me an extremely inexpensive and dependable used Hamar Crane with a new strap to pick up my scooter and place it inside of my van with Ease that I could handle since my balance is not that great. Bought brand new batteries for one power chair and used tires for a different power chair on January 15, 2019 from Gus @ Mobility America, Hwy 98, N. Lakeland. Paid $100 for the used tires but my husband's health deteriorated so we never got them put on. My husband passed away a week ago so I wanted to return the tires. At first Gus reluctantly said he would reimburse me but I couldn't find my invoice so I returned home. I decided to look for the invoice, found it and returned to Mobility America with the tires within an hour. Gus met me outside and said it's been 3 months

A one month wheelchair rental was quoted at $180, or $280 if you needed the ELR (elevated leg rests) and to purchase a chair started at $600. This was the significantly highest rental and purchase cost compared to the other significant players (Medi Health, Mobility Xpress, Mobility Specialists) in the area. My limited experience is based on a single common item one might need for a temporary injury, but spoke volumes for my interest in pursuing/pricing other items here.

Very disappointed in dealings with Mobility America in Lakeland. Just have a problem when people do not keep their word, I know that's old school but come on, is it so hard just to do what you say. If you cant, then don't say it in the first place. What is really comical is Gus the owner trashes his competitors for not being honest (that should have been a red flag) http://mobilityamericaonline.com/ is a Braunability Dealer. They sell wheelchairs, Scooters, powerchairs, Vans and equipment in Lakeland. I suggest looking elsewhere
