Would not recommend they diagnosed the problem to my car totally wrong and fixed nothing i had to end up taking it to a different mechanic to get it fixed. they diagnosed my car had a bad fuel pump they didn't test the fuel pressure or drop the tank and still were sure it was the fuel pump they replaced it and my car still had the same problem they were also horrible at communicating.i wouldnt take my car to this place if it were the last mechanic shop in the area id get it towed to a whole new city they are scummy overprice and try to rip you off

My brother took his Van in because it wasn't starting. They diagnosed it as a fuel pump. The tank was not dropped, yet they were adamant that the problem was the fuel pump. When the van was returned they stated the issue hasn't been resolved and that they think it might be an issue with his nearly brand new battery. Their incompetent diagnosis costed $800 and fixed absolutely nothing. Now he's stranded with a dead vehicle and who know what the problem is...

I came for a STAR smog check and I didn't have an appointment, so I figured I would drop off my car and return later. But the mechanic offered to do it immediately, right before his lunch. He was so fast, friendly, and fun too! He even waved me over to show me what codes he was pulling from my car. It was cool to see and learn about, I can't believe I actually had fun at my smog check!

Had to get my car smog checked and this establishment was everything I want in an auto repair/service place. The staff was fast, friendly and very professional. I barely had time to sit down and relax when they were already finished. The price, service and friendliness was second to none. I would use them again if needed.

I needed my car smogged at a STAR certified place and accidentally picked a place without the certification. I was referred here and spoke with Jose on the phone, who told me I didn't need an appointment and to come on over. I was in and out in ~20 minutes, and my car passed the smog. Great! I'd come back. Jose was super friendly.

I took my vw passat for a oil change the next day my car was saying it needs oil.so i took it back to them and the guy checked it said it needs a quart of oil. I asked him how i just got my oil changed with you he said may be its burning oil.lucky my car had a recall on the computer so i took it to volkswagon for the recall and they noticed oil in the engine that the plug was not put back.so i went to j&ds they refused to take responsibility the owner just kept arguing with me telling me it was not there fault when it was it cost me 161.oo dollars to fix there mistake i do not recommend this

I have been taking my cars here for years and always had a pretty good experience.
Then i had to get my car smogged.
When i called they said they were getting a new machine and it could be a while,
It is a second car so i wasn't in a hurry.
So
I called back couple weeks later and then again to see if i could get in and every time i got to hear about how expensive this new machine is and how its not fair they had to buy it.
After waiting and waiting i finally got in!
Only to find out they now nearly a hundred dollars do it

J&D is a quality auto repair shop, with friendly, fast, and great service. I have visited J&D a few times for various services, on a recommendation from my regular VW Repair man, another great business and ownership over at "Just Andy's"; and I have never been disappointed. From oil changes to SMOG checks, I have always felt comfortable, welcomed, and in good hands with James. The woman who works the front reception area is great, as well, extremely helpful, kind, and warm. I called on a Wednesday, and was promptly confirmed an appointment for Saturday morning. The process

Can't say enough about this place! I've been going here for my oil changes, brakes, and other mechanical issues for years and they always treat me right! Took my Honday Pilot here for a smog, it was quick and painless and a great price too! James was so friendly and efficient. I often feel like mechanics are going to rip you off but I did not get that feeling here. The staff was very honest and got the job done for me. I will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend this place.

J & D Auto is the first banner that I see and I pull in, cold turkey, at about 4:10 in the afternoon. Lindsey and Jim greet me with a smile and a 'No Problem, give me 20 minutes' when I ask for a smog check on the spot.
Seamless transaction and the total tab was $50. In, out, and thanks to their e-delivery of my smog results my registration is taken care of.
