A veneer is a thin layer of material placed over a tooth, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth or to protect a damage to a tooth's surface.

What is the difference between general dentistry and family dentistry? They are very similar but there are differences. Both general dentistry and family dentistry take care of tooth health services and oral hygiene. With family dentistry, the office will have a dentist that treats patients of all ages.
When you go to the dentist office, it could sometimes include x-rays to help our dentist define your dental health. We never want to take more x-rays than we need to even though x-rays have minimal radiation exposure. They make a great tool to diagnose many things going on with your teeth. ️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish I could give more! Every single person there was amazing. Dr Elkind and his assistant (loved her!!) were beyond amazing, patient and kind. I had a dental emergency and didn’t have a dentist. I found Dr Elkind and they got me in right away. They throughly explained what happened, what I should do and gave me options, and let me think about what was best for me to do for as long as I needed (in the chair taking up so much of their time) and didn’t ever pressure me. I would recommend them over and over again!

Great experience from start to finish. I was a nervous wreck headed into the office. It has been awhile and I knew things were going to be bad. Sandy Did my cleaning and was gentle and patient. Dr. Elkind came in to discuss some issue, but gave me options to hopefully fix some of the issues without having a filling. I had to go back for fillings that could not wait, he was patient and kind. I was so scared to have a shot. Jen was wonderful in calming me before hand. Dr. Elkind was gentle and I barely felt the shots. I can honestly say I felt like a friend in the office. I will definitely be recommending

I have been a patient of Dr Elkind's for thirty years. He has always been kind and gentle, and up to date with procedures and equipment. Office is spotless - so clean and so beautifully decorated, which has a zen, calming effect. Office manager Kim is friendly and always so helpful. I've had extensive dental work done over the years, and Dr Elkind has been the best of anyone I've seen. Hope he never retires!
