Albertson Marine Inc. is a year round full service marina and boatyard with a fully stocked 5,000 square foot ship's store and marine service department. The marina and facilities are located in Southold, N.Y. Back in the 1950's, Charlie Witzke began an outboard motor repair business in his family home.
Over time, this business developed into the fifty slip Witzke's Boat Yard in Seaford Harbor, NY. In 1974, Charlie Witzke and his wife Lil purchased Albertson Marine, Inc. Charlie and the Witzke family assumed operations at a land locked facility at the eastern end of Southold town center. In 1982, the marine expanded with the purchase of dockage and a storage facility at Budds Pond.

Our technicians use the latest diagnostic tools to service jet skis, generators, outdrives, trailers, and water systems.

We carry a very wide selection of products to meet your boating needs - safety equipment, engine & boat care, electrical, plumbing, and water sports. Plus those widgets and whachamacallits that you don't find other places.
Albertson Marine offers both indoor and outdoor storage up to 45'. Our indoor facilities can accommodate over 300 motor boats, jet skis, sail boats, and dinghies. Boats are blocked securely to withstand severe weather conditions and are checked throughout the season to ensure safety. Our 95 slip Marina is located on Budds Bonds off the Peconic Bay in Southold, NY on the North Fork of Long Island.

Just purchased our new boat through Albertson, and they were so helpful. We didn’t know much about the process of buying a boat this size so we had a ton of questions, luckily Kathy, Dave and the whole staff were more than patient in walking us through this whole experience. They truly did go above and beyond from the day we found the boat, right up to pulling it out of the marina for us. We can’t thank them enough! I highly recommend this marina for all your boating needs. I purchased a used boat from Bill the owner, and he truly went out of his way to make sure we where comfortable with our decision. We traveled 3 hours each way, and it was worth the travel. They sent pictures and updates on boat process prior to our travel, and Bill is a man of his word. Then when I went in to do the paperwork, I was amazed how organized, clean, and stocked they are. Cathy, who is Bill’s sister and co-owner, made it a pleasure working through all the paperwork. Great family business, and atmosphere. Thank you Albertson

Albertson’s is top notch! We hail from Stratford CT and were coming into Greenport when we lost an engine. Dave took the time out of his busy day to come help us in Greenport. He successfully diagnosed a tricky intermittent problem and got us back up and running. He and the team at Albertson’s were great to work with and we really appreciate Dave sticking with us and going the extra mile to help us out!

My grandfather's business, and run by my cousins, aunt, and uncle, together with an exemplary staff of technicians who really know what the hell they're doing. I live very far away, down in NC, but I'm proud to be a part of the Alberston Marine family. I may be biased, but i know my cousin David and my uncle Bill are highly skilled and passionate about boating, and that my dad's side of the family has made this business a big part of the Southold community. I'm pleased to know that my grandpa, Charles Witzke, made an impact on the people in his town and that the business he ran is still successful

The only thing I can say good is that they showed up quickly. Unfortunately the price I was given had a massive markup on it for the exhaust system they were going to install after it was fabricated by a welder, North Fork Welding. Their price was $940 and Albertson asked me for $2500-$3000 installed, plus the $450 they charged me to take out the old system. So $3500 total they wanted for a job that might have cost them 6 hours or 7 total installed. Here's Bill the manager on hidden camera, when I called him out on it:
