Auburn Landing
Auburn Landing, Inc. has been providing expert home building and renovation for over forty years. Jeff Andrews founded Auburn Landing, Inc. on St. Patrick's Day in 1979. Hailing from Vermont with experience in carpentry and the building trades, Jeff was eager to try his hand at custom home building.

Since the inception, Jeff and Auburn Landing have made their mark in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Jeff is intrigued by the complexity of the building process and especially the interplay of design, budgets, and personalities. Blending the visions of architects and clients into a tangible product is extremely rewarding for him.

In many instances, the setting drives the design. This is especially true on a waterfront property with views of the Manhattan skyline in the distance. Nearly every room has the potential to capture a piece of that view if the design team gets it right. In this instance, we think they did.

As a builder, the challenges of coastal construction are usually smaller lot sizes, more difficult access and making the proper provisions for when the weather isn't nice. This project had all those elements. Bringing seven utility trenches up the only access way into the property had to be choreographed carefully to minimize down-time to the overall construction sequence.
A 60 year old house was razed to accommodate this beautiful home. Unfortunately the bearing capacity for a 1950's ranch style home is different that what is required of today's creative architects. When, while excavating, a bottomless peat bog was discovered and piling would not work, out-of-the-box engineering was necessary.
Built during James Madison's presidency, this old barn served families' agricultural needs for generations. Fast forward 190 years - countless patches, invasive critters and a client who wanted a guest cottage - enter Auburn Landing. Through shoring, jacking, modern means and methods, and recycling what was sound, a beautiful old building was re-purposed.
When you treasure the things you collect you need to display them. If your collection consists of sports and music memorabilia, the display options are both challenging and fun. Guitars from famous musicians, jerseys and uniforms from famous athletes, stadium seats from major league ball parks around the country and iconic movie props are just a few of the items that our client collected and needed to be displayed.

Positive: Professionalism
JEFFREY ANDREWS is a law abiding citizen who respects a legal court judgement. He would never aid and abet criminal activity and I trust he will inspire JUSTICE and INTEGRITY.

Jeff Andrews and his crew at Auburn Landing made extensive repairs to our home after it sustained damage from a macroburst tornado spinoff that felled 40 oak trees around us, one falling on the house directly over the kitchen. The job required roof and ceiling rebuild and repair, partial chimney removal, a total gutting of the kitchen followed by… rebuild, extensive crack repair throughout the main floor of the house and complete interior prep and repaint. We could not have been more impressed with their work, their attention to detail, their professional guidance and advice as to kitchen

There is so much to navigate when building a new home, and I don't know what I would do without Auburn Landing. From subcontractors to coordinating materials, problem-solving to practical day-to-day matters with running a construction site, best materials to use and what logistics makes sense, Ralph handled it all expertly and efficiently. He's patient — it's my first time building a house — and offers fantastic, realistic advice that makes the process smooth and undramatic. He's gone above and beyond to ensure that my new house and its related infrastructure on my property are all beautiful
