Richard McKendrick has several years of experience in drafting and enacting child custody agreements.
Services
As a husband, father, and attorney, Richard McKendrick is committed to strengthening families. Mr McKendrick has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1998. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. He formerly practiced law in Utah. He is a former special assistant public defender and speaks both English and Spanish.
If you have recently become party in an injunction case, you might be experiencing some significant problems. The purpose of an injunction against violence is to keep one person from committing violence on another. If those two people are married and have children, the injunction will also order those two people how to share their children.
A divorce can be a dramatic change in your life. It's often a highly emotional time that can be filled with feelings of acrimony and retribution. Many people feel extremely vulnerable during this time of transition. One moment you are wondering, "Why doesn't my spouse love me anymore?" The next moment you need to consider who is responsible for paying the capital gains taxes on an inherited mutual fund.
The interests of your children, including their financial well-being, place of residence and emotional stability should be your primary concern during a divorce. You may even worry about losing the right to spend time with your children. At McKendrick Law we take a strategic and comprehensive approach to protecting your rights and providing for the best interests of your children during custody disputes.
In Florida, it is not always necessary to have a trial and obtain a court judgement to end your marriage. Many cases can be resolved through negotiation. A Marital Settlement Agreement is the resulting document. In addition to Marital Settlement Agreements, we can assist you in drafting a Premarital Agreement, which like the Marital Settlement Agreement stipulates the conditions for ending the marriage if the occasion arises.

Communication with Bella was the only reason this place got anything above 1 star. She was informative and kind and didn't try to rush anything. Unfortunately I didn't get the pleasure of having her be the only person I had to deal with, Mr. Mckendrick being my official lawyer. He displayed extreme lack of empathy, lack of communication, lack of ability to prep me for anything. He lost my case, didnt seem to care whatsoever. Didnt ask questions. Never got a single thing done for me besides setting up a mediation which even then took MONTHS and got me absolutely nowhere. Losing this case has effected

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
I went to this firm with a same day appointment and they were pleasant, professional, and gave me the info I needed. Richard didn’t work out of the county that my case was located, but he still took the time to talk to me and give me sound legal advice during our consultation. I would very much recommend this firm for your legal needs.

Funny how someone who has pictures up of him and his own family has no qualms ripping parents away from their children for a buck...
If you want someone with zero moral compass, you have come to the right place with Richard McKendrick.
Follow-up to response: It doesn't take "representing your client well" when the other person doesn't have the money for an attorney. You tore a father away from their child by taking advantage of knowing case law when they don't. You completely railroaded him with technicalities when there was a complete lack of any evidence against him. All based purely on hearsay

I don’t even know where to start, he represented my wife over 3 years ago in her divorce. We are still having to have him complete stuff that was supposed to be done in the divorce papers. We have been waiting for him to finish a QDRO since May and he won’t send anything out overnight all standard mail. Getting a response from these people is like pulling teeth. Bottom line is he is incompetent and no communication skills and from how he handled himself in court, seems to lack confidence in his skills as a lawyer. It took writing a complaint to the bar to get a response from him. If you’re

Went to Mr McKendrick in a time of need. We sat down and discussed the situation and came up with a game plan to lead towards a reasulation. I followed all advice he gave, paid him to file motions in my case that he suggested we file to get a temporary time sharing order before another case was complete. The motions got filed but absolutely no follow up beyond those motions, the 2 times I called regarding this I was told "we're trying to get an answer" and I was charged for both of those phone calls. I was also charged for a case review every month, but I can't see how they reviewed my case file
