Take Route 4 West at Fort Ann New York. Follow 149 West approximately 15 miles to Route 9 at the Lake George Factory Outlet Centers. Turn left and follow Route 9 South for 4.5 miles. INSIDE EDGE will be on your right just past the Price Chopper Supermarket. Take the NYS Thruway North to Albany, NY and continue North on Interstate 87, 45 miles to exit 19 (Queensbury/Glens Falls).

Last season I switched from a tech binding on my touring setup to a CAST system (lets you switch a tech toe out for a Look Pivot 15 or 18 alpine toe for the downhill, and I can't rave enough about it given the amount of frontside touring necessary this season due to r*!n). Last season, I called/brought it in to a number of ski shops in the area to do the mount, and none of them would touch it (in one case liability, in another unfamiliarity, and in another because of the alpine component). I brought it to Inside Edge and the ski tech Jesse took it overnight with my boots, read the manuals, did

Let me just say that if they carried snowboards they'd be getting five stars from me. (Ski shop) I was able to buy some previous season snowboard boots for my 6 year old son however (60% off!) but that's pretty much the only snowboard stuff they had. Sad face.
That being said, it's a great place for skis, both C.C. and alpine. Bikes too! Friendly helpful staff and no long lines or trouble finding someone to assist you like the chain stores. We'll be back for bike stuff in the summer or if we ever decide to take up two planks again. Thanks for the great deal Jessie!

I was in search of a bike tool to remove the crank from my 1921 Iver Johnson bike. Three area bike shops didn't have the tool or were reluctant to try to remove it. I had little hope when I entered Inside Edge. Jessica explained the bike mechanic wasn't there but she invited me to the tool bench and said to have a look. OMG. I rooted around for a tool and found one that I thought would work. Tada. Not only did I get the lock nut off, but used the work bench to disassemble the entire crank. So happy. How generous was that? Definitely the best.

As a new classic/Nordic ski participant, I was overjoyed to find a ski shop with amazing, experienced staff. They not only recommended the perfect equipment, bout told me about Cole’s Woods ski park, right in their own backyard, but gave me the name and # of an amazing instructor. .great place, super great personnel

The people here have always been very helpful whether it is something as simple as a bike shirt to buying a bike and renting a snowboard. They are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything to you. And their prices are very reasonable. I'm glad we have someone in the area that provides all of the services that these people do.

I had such an amazing experience at Inside Edge. I am a college student who was racing at West mountain when I broke my slalom skis. After having a nice conversation with the owner he game me a brand new pair of slalom skis for the day. They weren't even mounted and yet he mounted them and had them ready within an hour all for free! AND I WON!!! Not only that but they managed to fix my broken ski. Such an amazing company and I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything Inside Edge
