I called many fence companies serving the southwest suburbs, and by far Oak Ridge was the best in customer service. Someone always answers the phone. Kathy in the office always got back to me with answers too. Julie, the owner, even came out to answer all my questions and explain the process. Wow, that woman has an eye for detail (and the patience of a saint).
We ran into a problem on the neighbor's yard (shed in way), but no doubt I would have faith in moving forward with Oak Ridge once that is resolved by my neighbor. They were transparent, reliable, and kind and I will continue to recommend

Called up late Wednesday afternoon for a quote. Came in on Thursday morning to make a down payment. Custom chain link gate was done and delivered the very next day. I installed the fence posts and gate myself. I chose this place because it had a good rating on Google. Also, the price was just as low as other "discount" fence companies I had called. Bob, who built my gate is a super nice guy and very easy to work with. Great people, great prices, highly recommend.

DO NOT GIVE OAK RIDGE FENCE AND GATE TOUR BUSINESS!! Where do I start? From walking the job with the estimator and him giving me an incorrect price, to the installers not able to read the plat of survey, to them completely laying out the agreed upon job totally wrong, to the front office (Kathy and Julie) being very rude.

Beware and Watch the Installers Closely !
I can only give this company a 3 because of all of the problems caused in installing our fence. They damaged our garage door and the owner of this company said she wasn't responsible for her installers mistakes- that we would have to bring it up with him, even though it was her company on the top of the invoice. After a lot of back and forth on our part, the installer finally admitted his workers were responsible for damaging our garage door. Our garage door had to be replaced completely. The installer did pay for it thankfully. In addition, the

Just had my fence installed with this company. Great company to work with! I was given their name & number by a neighbor. They gave me a quote the next day coming out. Other places I called near me in NWI took at least a week if not more to get me a quote after coming out! Returned calls & emails with questions within hours and gave us the best price! Very courteous workers. Took some time to install, but it was done right! I highly recommend this company! Five stars!!
