I had an appointment for 1:30 and was waiting for 11 minutes. I typically like this place but this was not a good thing for a long time client. I live in Miramar and I come on my lunch break. If you’re going to be late you can at least call the client and let them know you’re running behind. I could’ve came later if that was the case but there was no communication. If I was late they would’ve canceled my appointment. I wouldn’t able to be over 10 minutes late. I’m very disappointed.

I came to the Wax Spa on a recommendation from a friend who has been coming for years and I'm so glad I didn't have to send her that side eye text after my treatment. I did not have an appointment and was seen promptly. The staff seems VERY efficient were very kind. They have a system and clearly know how to run a business. I have been coming to wax spa almost four years now, and I always leave with a very good experience, and feeling like a new born baby again lol. I got my first ever play boy wax at wax spa, and all I have to say is that I would never shave again. Carolina, is my wax specialist. She's so nice, soft spoken, kind, and gentle. This is the BEST wax center hands down! I would highly recommend wax spa to anybody, especially first-timer. Their customer service is top tier and their studio is gorgeous and clean. Giselle and Caroline (was specialist) are so sweet. They'll calm you down throughout your whole appointment. You have to be on time for your appointment. They have appointments back to back but do allow a 5-minute grace if you call beforehand and let them know you're running behind.

I've been a customer at wax spa for the past 4 years. To say that I walk out completely satisfied each and every time is an understatement. Carolina does my lashes and I honestly wouldn't trust anybody else to do them other than her. She listens to exactly what your wants and needs are and the outcome is beautiful. I've been going to this place for more than 10 years, the owner Boris is very professional and spot-on. Every measure is taken during this ordeal we're going through to make you feel comfortable and safe: mandatory mask, temperature taken as you arrive and you have to wash your hands before your service. And the place is pristine. Gisele who does waxing is also very careful. She's very experienced and the sweetest. I definitely recommend the Wax Spa!

My rating is based solely on the responses from the owner. I almost purchased a Groupon for this place but I did my due diligence and read the reviews along with the owner's responses. Clearly, the customer service is lacking. I'm avoiding this place and I would advise anyone else to read everything in detail before deciding to book an appointment. I'm waiting to get yelled at for this too but honestly, I'm staying far away so it doesn't matter to me. I've never seen customer service like this. Truly insane.

Apparently you will be no showed here if you're over ONE minute late. You will then have to wait for 30 minutes because they already took someone else into the room due to your 2 minute tardiness. Don't forget to factor in the rude front desk receptionist who will argue with u when u ask her why u were no showed telling you that her time says you were a whole 4 minutes late. Lol

The first time I came it was great...I don't remember her name but she explained everything and made sure I didn't have any hair left whatever I had she plucked it, I made an appointment after that visit and when you make it three weeks before you get a discount the receptionist seems to hate her job and did not want to acknowledge it. I'm originally from NYC and I'm use to a full Brazilian wax meaning everything off nothing left behind, unfortunately this place has a different definition of Brazilian wax. So be prepared to pay more then what you expect to be paying for a Brazilian. Also the front desk lady has a horrible horrible attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day ( hopefully that was the case). I was in Miami, and since I`d never Brazilian, and decided, when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
I also had a groupon that made the Brazilian $19 instead of the $49 and also had a $10 groupon credit, and they had some pretty reasonable yelp comments so my vajjayjay hopped in a shared uber and made our way from South Beach to North Miami
The shopping center is rather plain, i cant think of any other store that was in there, mind you i was there like 9 months ago but I didn`t think it ran down or need of any sort of repairs
