I recently visited Boss' facility in Sanford Florida for a demonstration. Ken took two hours with me engraving my material and showing me the finer parts of the Boss 1630 laser. He was thorough and patient. The demonstration room contained all the lasers Boss makes to demonstrate. They want you to put their machine through its paces.
It was convincing enough of an experience that I purchased a LS-1630 shortly after. I had done a great deal of research prior to my visit.

I'm new to BOSS LS3655 lasering/engraving. In setting up my new machine I encountered a difficulty with Backlash Parameters and my CW5200 Chiller. Josh helped me bring things up to date and installed the necessary files to make everything work perfectly. He was patient with my newness and led/taught me to make things work properly. Its comforting to know that when you purchase a piece of equipment, that the manufacturer stands behind it's product. I had an issue with my Boss 1630, due to no ones fault. I was able to resolve the issue myself but just wanted to confirm that I resolved the issue correctly. I contacted Boss and VERY quickly one of their tech reps, Charley, returned my call. He was very easy to talk to and answered my questions in language I could understand. I am very pleased with the entire experience.

We purchased a Boss Laser engraver 3 years ago for our Shop Class at our school district. It has been a tremendous tool that our students love to use. Our shop class and our Ag class both have found valuable uses for this device. These laser engravers are great for small shops and schools. They have many practical and artistic uses. We ordered an FC fiber laser machine and we could not be happier with the results. The techs, Mike and Jason, did a great job with set up and training. Darius was extremely helpful when we ran into an issue that we did not understand. I'd rate 12 out of 10, if possible. The equipment is great, well produced, and more importantly, well supported. And if you're new to doing laser work, that is critical!
We've had excellent support from Boss, and now have 5 Boss decks in our business.
I can't overstate how important good support is. You're going to have issues. questions. adjustments needed. parts, etc. these things are complex..
Out of every laser company I've worked with (several others), the Boss support is absolutely the best - I've never once had them NOT quickly resolve an issue. The documentation is good. the phone calls
