We do NOT use an additive like most companies do to get a black mark on most materials. We are able to adjust and configure our laser to get a black mark that is permanent. This technique is mostly seen in the medical field where the instrument needs to have a permanent mark that does not penetrate into the actual surface.
We can engrave into nearly every material, yes even food. Depending on the application we will use either C02 or Fiber to engrave the supplied information on product. I originally found this business by a simple Google search for engraving companies in my area. I wanted family owned since it is the holiday season and if I’m going to spend money on to get an extra special gift for a loved one why not put money into another’s pocket who may need it rather than a corporation who’d also offer engraving. I arrived at the shop and was greeted very friendly and helped immediately, they took a look at the item I needed engraved and asked about my idea as well as helped me pick out perfect placement and style. When it came to prices it cost me the same as another

Great business! The family running the business is super helpful and nice, and their products and services are top notch. I had a Corkcicle engraved and the turn around time was very quick. It is a bit of a drive for me to get up to the shop in Longwood from where I live in Orlando, but 100% worth the drive. I would highly recommend Focused Light Engraving if you're looking for this type of service.

I dropped off a charcuterie board to be engraved for a friend’s wedding today. Within hours, I received a text with several font options and a quote. What a hidden treasure. We were in need of having an ash urn engraved and didn't want to trust this to just anyone. I took a Henry Repeater Rifle to Focused Light Engraving. I Spoke with Mr. Mark, I informed him what I was looking for and the reason why. He took great interest in my concern. Reviewed and composed a drawing within hours, also produced an image as well as a sample of the engraved phrase to show me as to how it would look on the Rifle.
I pickup the finished product by the end of the second day.
The Job was completed and exceeded my expectations. The finished work was amazing, a very clean image; professionally done. IT WAS JUST AMAZING!! GREAT JOB !!!

Would love to leave a good review but it pains me to share my most recent experience with this family owned business. I had done previous business with this company which they did an amazing job and we had agreed upon pricing for this project and any future work based on the job description. A project came up which I reached out regarding and the company and point of contact acted as though they had no idea as to what I was referencing and insisted they would not budge even though he explicitly stated he would maintain this pricing.
