Me and my children stopped by to have lunch. The cheese sauce was lacking cheese flavor. The refried beans was lacking flavor. The rice was good and the guacamole was tasty. We had the chicken fajitas with grilled shrimp. The shrimp had a strong shrimp flavor and the fajitas needed more green bell peppers. I should have had the tamales. I'm sure it would have been great.

It had been years since I had eaten here at Cocina De Mino. The beans & rice were really good! The spicy green salsa was great too. Unfortunately the pork chile verde was mediocre. The only tender pieces were the really small pieces & the verde sauce was more like paste. It definitely needs work, but I'm sure it can be improved.

Friendly and fast service and good food. Plenty of space for large groups. Be warned though and check your receipt when you have large groups as they add gratuity in the price. Not sure why places still do that, they would get a ton more in tips if they didn't add it in. I know our group would've given more if they hadn't added it in.

It is always a hassle with bulk orders here which we do pretty frequently because people enjoy their food. Even if you schedule a pickup time several days before, the order is never ready at that time and 2-3 employees are scrambling trying to find out if they wrote it down. Today 11/24/21 I came in and the employee at the cashier asked for my name and order, the hostess asked what the name was and the hostess immediately replied, there is nothing with that name. So now I am worried my order wasn’t taken. Fortunately the cashier offered to look in the kitchen. Fifteen minutes later, the order

When you first get there they of course give you chips, salsa, and queso. The salsa is spicy but nothing to bad, and then we ordered steak and chicken fajitas for two, and my wife had a strawberry margarita with the meal.. Also they make homemade flour tortillas which was very good...so we was very pleased with food and the service.

We have been eating at Cocina de Mino for many years. Our first visit in the 1980s was in their old location off N. May Avenue (which later became Ted's). Since 2001, we tend to go to the location on South Western, including today. lunch specials are available until 4 PM. And their food is always so good! Call us happy customers!

I just left Cocina De Mino.
I had sequence #0000246 order ID #: 0684627. I waited over 45 mins to get served 12 flour tortillas and one side of Refried beans. I asked two different waitress to check my order and either got back to me.
After 45mins of waiting I decided I walk out without requesting a refund.
I am very disappointed in their service today. I had my girlfriend with me and that was her first experience at this location .
I'm writing this review in the hopes that the owner sees it and make some changes. Normally this place is great. Today it literally did not deliver after

The server was great. He made sure to check on us every few minutes. Super motivated with a smile on his face he kept on apologizing for the food taking so long.
In reality, I think the food was ready in a reasonable time. The restaurant was super busy and almost all tables were occupied.
The restrooms were not as clean as they were supposed to. Right by the restrooms a storage area was left with the doors open. You see all the old equipment pulled up. It kind of gives you an idea on how disorganized the restaurant was.
The floor by the restrooms was also very sticky.

Still the best place for enchiladas. The chicken and spinach are so good! They even have a enchilada special on Wednesdays for $6.99. Definitely try them out. Reminds me of the old Tulio's and Nino's enchiladas. So if you like that old school taste of your childhood in 80's and 90's for enchiladas in OKC, go get some from here. Their fajitas are also pretty good especially with the homemade tortillas as well.

Huge props to Cocino De Mino for the decor!! I absolutely love the interior. The walls are painted, they've got plants all over - and all in all just very vibrant.
They give you free chips and salsa, as well as tortillas to go around. Their chips are alright, but those tortillas...were the absolute most softest, tortillas you'll ever have. Nice and warm in the little container, and even with just salsa and queso, was just the perfect little treat.
Service here was alright - only bump we had was that the waitress accidentally switched the plates that was meant for my boyfriend and

We all just left this place because everyone looked like they were in a bad mood. The hostess with black and blonde long ponytail was the rudest. She was hateful. Didn't smile. Didn't greet us. Threw app plates down on the table next to my daughter. Like damn if you don't want to serve people in a restaurant then don't work in food service. It's not our fault you hate your job. We ended up placing an order but we cancelled and decided to take our business elsewhere. Work on your customer service skills.
