David Hawkins and the 5-Star team at Joe Morris & Son Funeral Home are phenomenal. When you find yourself needing a compassionate, professional team to guide and assist you through the process of celebrating and honoring a loved one who has transitioned, I strongly recommend Joe Morris & Son.
October 11, 2021 was a shocking, surreal, painful day… for my family. While traveling from Atlanta to Pensacola, I learned that my beloved father, Sam Huff, passed at 10:15 am CT. Roughly three hours later, my daughter’s mother, Shielda Crenshaw, passed in Atlanta (Covid-19). During the

Joe Morris has been the “go to” funeral home for my entire family for years. However in January of 2021 I had my own personal experience with them as I had to bury my mother. Gerremy and Ray did a fantastic job with the entire process. I seriously wouldn’t have been able to do this without their help. They did such a awesome job that unfortunately… I had to use Joe Morris again as I buried my sister in February. The entire team was so considerate and everything was very personable. If you are in the Pensacola area and looking for a funeral home that will take care and pride

This is the worst funeral home do not trust them to take care of your loved ones needs. My father passed on December 16th and it is February 19th and I have been waiting patiently on them to contact a funeral home out of state who transported my father to their funeral home and request copies of his death certificate that has already been paid for.… I called today and was told by someone there that I needed to contact the owner Mr. Hawkins and he would either contact someone else to get it done or call that person I spoke to and they would then do it. How dare you make me call the owner

Outstanding Funeral Home! I want to personally thank the Joe Morris staff for their hardworking they have done. You ALL are a blessing to my family during our bereavement of time. I was very impressed on the 2 young ladies that work there. From the time-being I was at the funeral home, I think they are twins. They are very respectful, polite, and sweet!! I look forwarding to seeing them when coming to the funeral home.

My family have used Joe Morris for as long as I can remember and over the years the service continues to decline. Our love one passed and the family selected Joe Morris. We scheduled an appointment and ended up waiting an hour to be serviced. We were seated in a hallway where constant traffic walked passed us. We were also in an area to hear every conservation taking place. I expected more from an establishment being in business as long as
they have. Totally unacceptable!
When I spoke to Mr. Hawkins about the dissatisfaction, rather than take responsibility he wanted to argue about an appointment

Joe Morris and Sons handled the burials of my Father and my sister. The staff, though over worked in this time of Covid, were kind, professional and courteous. The services were limited to family only to allow “social distancing”. It was a true blessing for those unable to be with us to view the services online. I would recommend them to everyone and will soon began pre-planning my services with them as well.
Most sincerely,

Joe Morris & Son Funeral Home is the most professional establishment in this industry. Losing my father was hard enough, but the staff made sure that every detail was perfected and every request was made. I truly appreciate the love and respect that my family was shown during this process. If your loved one has passed, make sure that you trust in… the only company that has the staff to ensure this difficult process is made as simplistic as possible. Mr. Hawkins, Mrs. Rosalind, Mrs. Jacquelyn, Gerremy, and Mr. Stallworth, I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!!❤️❤️❤&

The mic was turned down three times when the minister was speaking to the point that you were unable to hear.
Customer service was poor unable to accommodate the family when asked for out of state relatives to view the body. The family drove a long way and some flew in as far as Washington.
My suggestion is whatever your rules are they should be fully explained at the meeting when arrangements are made. There are some people that’s not familiar with the process because it’s new to them. Every customer should be treated as if this is new to them.
The family has decided to spare you of any

We had a loved one pass away in Pensacola, and being from Houston, we didn't even know where to start with the funeral process. Morris Joe and Son Funeral Home made us feel so welcomed, and helped us every step of the way. They exceeded our expectations. The owner went above and beyond to help us through the process and we are forever grateful to him and his staff.
