Iron Pioneer Metalsmiths offers a wide range of hand-forged custom metalwork products and services. We can accommodate design styles ranging from rustic to modern and specialize in producing pieces that are both beautiful and durable. Our work is suitable for the most demanding commercial and residential applications.
We create unique, industrial table bases in a variety of styles which can be used for custom table tops. This is a perfect handcrafted piece for any wood, concrete, stone, marble or glass tabletop. Whether your design style is rustic or modern, or anything in between, we can design and hand forge table legs and table bases to fit your needs.
We carry full grain, chrome tanned, leather aprons for the serious blacksmith. This handmade shop apron features a split leg design and accommodates the most demanding forge-to-anvil movements. It features adjustable leather straps and the front is personalized with your embossed initials. This is a top quality apron.
Our forming process involves multiple "heats" in a coal or propane fired forge, depending on the stock and time frame involved. On the coal forge, both an electric and manual air induction fan is used to attain desired forge temperatures. Through the process of heating, hammering, forming and bending, the product is manufactured while the metal is in a malleable state.
