Nice ladies. I appreciated that masks were required. Having worked retail often alone, I did not mind the doorbell. But something is up with Florida quilt shops - they all carry the same fabric and all these folded up panels. Stop in if you are in the neighborhood, but not worth an out of your way drive.

A quilt shop not for me, I was a little surprised they kept the front door locked. The gentleman’s outside greeted us nicely enough, once we tried to enter he had to unlock the deadbolt and the bottom lock once inside we heard it click and was not able to exit the same door. We had to turn right and continue through the tiny maze of rooms. The lady at the front counter was nice and asked if it was our first time after a 2min rundown I tried to look around but the locked door and all the signs saying smile you are camera really through me off. I would highly suggest they move to Historic Downtown

I visited the shop with my sisters and when we walked in we knew we had struck gold. See-Mini has everything from notions to patterns and the fabric selection is the best we have found. This shop is our new ‘go to’ shop. The staff was so helpful and fun. Phillip helped measure my quilt tops and choose backing and based on my fabric selections was able to make suggestions of coordinating fabrics and cuts. Make sure you have plenty of time because there is so much to see.

I love the fabric selection. When they ship the fabric everything is wrapped in tissue/panels in zipped clear bags. You can tell they want there customers to feel special when they receive something from there store. There customer service is outstanding! I purchased my Juki TL-2010Q with all the accessories, through Sew-Mini Things. Thanks to Philip who took the time on the phone to explain the differences in the sewing machines I was interested in. I am now using a sewing machine that is meant to help me achieve a professional result with my bag making. I wish I lived closer because there employees

Fabric store are one of my favorite places to visit and this is a must check out location. They masterfully fit a ton of fabrics in this shop and they always have cutting edge selections. I see new fabric here before I see them in other stores. Staff is friendly and comical to boot. The experience shopping here is different from any other fabric shop, it's owned and operated by two of the most knowledgeable men you will ever meet. They are always happy to answer any questions you might have including advise on difficulties you are having with a project. The repair service is top notch

Not very large? Okay, not huge. However, it is overflowing with fabulous fabrics--some that you will find nowhere else in the area--perhaps even in Florida! If you are a fan of Stonehenge (like me), you will find an amazing selection, including extra wide backings (no seams!). Another Destination Quilt Shop for my list. And I am blessed to have it 35 miles from home. TIP: in case you happen to find an SUV blocking the view of their sign (as I did), they are next door to a Dollar store on 19A.

One of my favorite quilt stores. Beautiful fabrics, expert sewing machine repair, and a friendly staff. I've been shopping with them for years and have even gone to a couple of retreats at the store. Not the largest store, but what they lack in size they make up for in service!
PS The store has moved to 3280 N Hwy 19-A in Mt. Dora, FL. Same number, 352-483-0082.
