What once began as a side business to the family's large scale egg farm, is now a multi-generational family business offering a variety of quality bedding plants, hanging baskets, perennials and vegetables to the greater Vancouver area. We thoroughly enjoy working in our community, and enjoy the friends and familiar faces we see year after year.

We know that a healthy selection of plants along with a knowledgeable and personable staff are the two most important components of a nursery, and we employ a team of knowledgeable, outgoing and helpful staff. In addition to being some of the nicest folks in the community, most of our staff have their own personal gardens so they are able to offer their practical garden experience to our customers as well.

March is usually an exciting time in the gardens of the Pacific Northwest. While the winters are always wet and cold, locals typically begin to witness the shift to Spring in March and April. So don't be discouraged. The bulbs are shooting through the soggy ground, the trees are beginning to bud, the frogs are awake and croaking in the multitude of puddles, and the robins are back!
Each Spring around February or March, we begin looking for a couple new employees for the season. We are a seasonal, part-time, family-run business. We work hard and care for each other and look forward to working together each season. Please keep in mind that this is a supplemental income job for just a few months out of the year.

This is my go-to nursery. Their prices are the lowest in all Clark County, especially on veggie starts, perennials, and 4 or 6 pack annuals, (I've checked!) and they often have cool and unusual plants. I just picked up a Philodendron Birkin that I'm super excited about. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend!

Everytime I pass this greenhouse on Lewisville Hwy I wish I could pull over and stop. They have a great variety of flowers, herbs and plants in general. The plants are generally long lasting, plus it is a peaceful walk through even if you're just browsing. I encourage you to stop and smell the flowers! Also, you'll need cash unless you're spending $15+. PLANT ON!

I really enjoy Chapman's! They have a nice variety of plants at reasonable prices. Plants are generally in really good shape, nice and healthy. They tend to carry potting plants, bulbs, vegetables, and smaller flowering plants and vines (i.e. you won't find trees here). Little wagons to tote around your selections are provided. Nice place! You should always remember to check out Chapman's when you're looking for plants.

Chapman's nursery is a very nice, small nursery that carries a wide variety of small plants. Mostly annuals and perennials with a mix of vegetables. If you don't want big box or commercial nurseries and want to support a small business, this is a great place to go. Fill my yard up with flowers from here every year.

Best nursery in Vancouver, imo.
Have always loved this out of the way little place for it's excellent vegetable starts and beautiful annuals and perennials. My favorite is the black and blue salvia. The hummingbirds seem to love it!
And then when this pandemic hit they stepped right up with online ordering and curbside pickup! Can't thank them enough for these options!
If you get a chance, check this place out!

Chapmans has been around a long time in my area. Great selection of healthy annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, veggies. Pieces are competitive. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also, they are the only place in the Vancouver/Battle Ground area you can find super-hot peppers! I searched high and low for them and thought I could only get them online, but I checked their website and saw they were listed, so I checked it out. I didn't find the exact one I was looking for, but did find the legendary Ghost pepper; Bhut Jolokia. They had tons in Stock with pods! 5.99 gets you one which is great
