G2G Salsa was founded by Jesse Ramos in Destin, FL in 2009 and relocated to Chattanooga, TN in 2014. Our mission is to promote and expand the Latin influence in the surrounding areas. Jesse started dancing Casino Salsa or "Rueda" at the age of 15 under the instruction of Carlos Tellez, founder of Salsa Heatwave studios.
He moved to Tallahassee, FL to attend Florida State University where he taught and performed with the Azucar Dance Company. After obtaining his Bachelors in Economics, he moved back to South Florida and began teaching NY on2 at Salsa Heatwave. He relocated to Chattanooga with his wife so she could pursue her doctorate degree at The University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

Services
Drop in rates can be arranged after completion of a full course. This is done in an effort to keep classes moving forward and to avoid slowing down the students who enrolled in the full course. Individual instruction is highly recommended for students wanting to progress at their own pace. These lessons are structured to provide students with 1-on-1 instruction and can be customized to meet the student's dance goals.

My wife and I wanted to try something new for date night so we signed up for an hour private lesson for Salsa dancing. Jesse was our instructor and he was extremely knowledgeable about the dancing styles, techniques and history to this culture. I was a little nervous about going because my wife is an amazing dancer and I'm no good. Once Jesse got us going it was such a fun activity and judgement free! He was very energetic and engaging with us and we had a blast! I'm sure we will go back in the future so if you're looking for a fun date night activity then look no further!

My friends and I love G2G Salsa! It is such a great addition to the Chattanooga community. The dances taught are Bachata and Salsa and jr usually alternates each month. Classes last about an hour and are twice a week. It is a place for those who are just learning, or even more experienced!
My favorite thing about G2G Salsa, is they keep you up to date on all of the events happening in Chattanooga and other local areas, such as Atlanta and Huntsville.
They have also started doing socials one a month where you can go out and dance in a fun and casual atmosphere. It is great to be able to meet others
