We live in an age when we're consuming and processing tremendous amounts of digital information daily. The information itself can enhance our lives. At the same time, the technology that delivers it and the tug to consume it can numb our senses and compromise the quality of our real-world connections.
Feathered Pipe Ranch bodywork and storymapping specialists are internationally recognized and have rightfully earned their place as some of the most compassionate and skilled healers practicing today. Our practitioners offer a broad range of modalities that support our guests as they to dive into deep states of relaxation, stress relief, personal discovery and healing to enrich their overall Feathered Pipe experience.
Our lodging options offer the finest in rustic comfort. Indoor and outdoor choices include a variety of private or shared accommodations ranging from western-style chalet rooms and cabins to glamping favorites - deluxe wall tents, tipis and yurts nestled in the heart of the Montana Rocky Mountains.

Wow. Just wow. I travel a ton and have been to wellness retreats before but Feathered Pipe is otherworldly. From it's sacred grounds to the program of Carie Garrett's retreat to the staff at the Ranch, it was the best experience from the minute I arrived to the minute I departed. I arrived not knowing anyone and left with 11 soul sisters and a home to return to in Montana. If you want to expand your mind, deepen your yoga mindset and truly nourish yourself, book a retreat at Feathered Pipe. Oh and stay in a yurt, it's pretty awesome especially for this city girl. Just wow....

Amazing place for a retreat. We were there last month with Judith and Lizzie Laseter for a restorative yoga retreat.

Food- absolutely amazing. I was in awe at the quality of the food they put out on a daily basis. Mike and Mike are awesome chefs.
Facilities- pretty awesome
Staff- amazing
Massages- amazing
Water pressure- nearly non-existent in the shower we had
Salt Water hot tub- very nice

Make no beans about it, you are camping when here even if in one of the glamping yurts or TeePees so be prepared with warm clothing for nights and shorts during the day.

I highly recommend the facilities

I just returned from a wonderful weeklong yoga retreat led by Carie Garret at Feathered Pipe Ranch near Helena, Montana. It was a wonderful experience and I have already signed up for 2018 when she returns August 18-25. She is taking over the slot for a freedom-style yoga retreat at the ranch that was long led by Erich Schiffmann until he retired last year.
For those who don’t know her yet, Carie with the long-red hair was a long-time assistant of Erich’s freedom yoga style. To say she is filling his shoes would be trite because while she remains loyal to the principles of freedom yoga, she

The Mindful Unplugged retreat was an incredibly get away from the hustle of bustle of everyday life. The people will friendly and laid back. The facility beautiful and peaceful. And the food was awesome. I highly recommend the Yerts but the cabins seemed very nice as well. It was a truly wonderful experience and I am looking forward to going again.

Updated: management has changed dramatically at FPR and made sure the practitioner I mentioned was paid in full. They seem great. I can't speak first hand on how the center being run now, but it's a truly magical place. Well worth checking out.

Initial review: This land is just amazing, powerful, grand and nurturing. The meeting space was great. The body work/healers there are wonderful. But I just found out that the managers of Feathered Pipe Ranch have not paid the practitioner of my retreat anything, now over 6 months since the event. That retreat was life changing incredible, despite

Feathered Pipe Ranch is such an awesome place to slow down and experience nature completely. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, the staff are friendly and very accommodating, and the food is fantastic! One has to experience this at LEAST once in a lifetime...and thank goodness I'm booked to go there AGAIN next year!!!

Attending a retreat at Feathered Pipe is like coming home and at the same time landing in a magical place. The dedication and intentions of the many yogis who've taught and practiced here, and staff who've cared for the place over these many years seem to infuse the air, the ground, the lake the trees, the lodge and practice room, the incredible fresh and delicious food, the space. Time seems to stretch out and allow for hiking, loafing, massage and hot tubbing; connecting with like minded others and also plenty of time for time with ones' self. As one who craves an infusion of silence and space

After hearing about Feathered Pipe for years and years, I finally had the opportunity to visit. I can't believe it took me this long. The natural beauty and stunning views are as superb as the energy of the place itself - spiritual, wholesome, full of ease. The staff is top-notch, the food amazing (it tastes like they cooked for 2 as opposed to 25 or 35), and the many opportunities for comtemplation beckon even the most plugged-in, high-wired Type-A types to unwind. Hike, swim, read, nap, ride horses, lounge in the grass, meditate and practice with abandon; connect with kindreds in ways that "real

Unlike other spas and retreat centers i have visited, Feathered Pipe has as it's foundation a serious, decades- long commitment to the genuine fostering of compassion-- not only for our fellow yogis, but for all sentient beings everywhere. Regardless of the workshop you attend, the underlying work remains the same--a deepening of your understanding of LOVE and the development of a practice that you can take with you when you return to your daily life, wherever it is and whatever it looks like.
The ranch itself is a beautiful. peaceful place set in the mountains just outside Helena, Montana. The
