Healthy Living Treatment
Many of us staff members have journeyed the same road as our clients and have dealt with the devastating effects of addiction and trauma. We are dedicated to helping others along their path because, we too, are on the same journey. Dr. Narine Arutyounian M.D. - Diplomate American Board Family Practice, Associate Professor at USC Family Medicine Department and member of American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Narine Arutyounian is a family medicine doctor in Glendale, California and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Glendale Adventist Medical Center and Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. When you are struggling to quit drugs, it can be important to choose a rehabilitation program that is designed.
Services
Upon arrival, one of our staff members will conduct an initial assessment. The purpose of this initial assessment is to determine what substances are being abused, the length and frequency of use, any prior treatment, and other medical conditions. We pass this information to the medical director for further review.
Nausea or vomiting, intense cravings, depression or anxiety, increased or irregular heart rate, increased irritability, confused thinking or difficulty with concentration, sleeping issues and insomnia, muscle soreness or stiffness, headaches, sweating, fever, seizures or panic attacks, and hallucinations.
The most common type of insurance accepted by Healthy Living Residential Program is PPO plans with out-of-network benefits. We accept all PPO insurance plans. Many patients receive a significant number of days covered by their insurance, depending on their plan. Please be aware that your insurance policy may or may not have defined benefits for residential treatment, and often limit authorization to very short-term residential treatment.
Using drugs or alcohol for a long period of time builds a physical and psychological dependency. When you stop using these substances, the body and mind start to panic and withdrawal symptoms begin. Drug and alcohol detox is the first step to recovery. It is the process of your body removing the toxins built up from these substances.
After detox, your mind and body have the capacity to start the next stage of recovery, residential treatment. There are four main types of therapy options in residential rehab: individual, group, experiential, and family therapies.

With the help of therapists, counselors, and experiential instructors, you start to understand the underlying causes of your addiction, develop skills to prevent relapse, and learn how to live without drugs and alcohol.Since each case is different, a personalized treatment plan is developed for your specific needs.

I am so thankful I chose healthy living for many reasons. First I want to share my addiction and my experience at healthy living, in hopes it will help someone else battling with opiate addiction. I was prescribed opiates for 12 years and its been a viscous cycle for many years, where I was feeling sick taking them and even sicker if I ran out.”Dope Sick” and because of an underlying health issue, I was scared of going through detox. “Rest assured it is a safe and comfortable detox” Thank you Dr Narine. I really enjoyed the residential living part of my stay. The vibe in the is very chill

I believe that I did not end up here by accident when I recently relapsed while in another program.I felt a lot of shame & guilt & was about to give up, then by accident I talked with a woman named Heidi, the director at Healthy Living she sounded so concerned for my well being I decided to try one more time. From the
moment I arrived at Healthy living I knew that this place was different It only took a couple of days for me to truly trust these people. I finally after years of searching for help found a program that I can truly say” I trust.”From the first day I felt no judgment, I was relaxed

I toured the facility a few days before checking in and met the staff. I was very comfortable with everything and checked in May 10th. I was put through a 2 week detox and weened off during the second week. This place gave me a second chance at life. It is a residential home with a two bedroom guest house which is where I stayed. Chef Luca cooks 3 meals a day and is such a kind soul. I can not say enough about this place. Vardan, Heidi, Nate, Nick, Chanel, Kat, Candy were all so awesome and helpful throughout my 30 days they really care. They have 3 group sessions a day one of them being with a

Addiction comes in many forms and takes control of our lives in unique ways. The shared reality of addiction is often helplessness, doubt, and despair. As someone who completed the program at healthy living I can say you will be treated like family from great technicians like Ann and great counselors like Nate as well as the program manager Heidi and other great people. You can find the hope and joy of recovery and healthy living. If you are looking to make a change and are trying to find the best spot to do that, look no further.

Healthy Living did wonders for me and my mental health! Located in San Clarita, the facility gives an at-home environment and feel. I was able to work on my mental health within a group setting, as well as my addict behaviors. The techs were amazing, both Jenny M. and Ann C.were very dedicated with helping me feel better and both warmed my heart with their compassionate and very strong work ethic. Nate, the case manager brought positivity everyday with his smile and daily encouragement. Heidi, program director, put all of her clients first and did everything in her power to help me and even went
