Services
Your first visit with us is a consultation. We'll get to meet you, learn about your health, and discuss treatment options. Our financial coordinator will be glad to explain your insurance coverage as well as financing options. There will be paperwork to fill out before you see the doctor, so please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment.
At Providence Oral Surgery, we strive to make financing your care as convenient as possible. We participate with various insurance plans, so call our office for verification. On your consultation visit, our financial coordinator will meet with you to explain your estimated insurance benefits for covered surgical procedures.
If you have a missing tooth or have teeth that need to be removed, there's no need to worry. There are options available to restore your smile and ability to eat all the foods you enjoy. The premier tooth replacement option is a dental implant, as they provide the most realistic replacement to your natural teeth.
Your wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt in your mouth. They're located all the way in the back in both the upper and lower jaws. They usually emerge through the gums in the teenage years, sometimes early twenties. In the majority of people, wisdom teeth do not erupt into functional positions that can be used for chewing.
There are several reasons why a tooth may need to be removed, such as: cavities, periodontal disease, tooth fracture, improper position, preparation for dentures, to name a few. We usually prefer to have a consultation appointment before we schedule a procedure so that we have the opportunity to learn about your health, examine your teeth, take X-rays, and explain the options for tooth removal and tooth replacement.
