My personal experience and frustration with the traditional divorce model inspired me to find an alternative more holistic and non-adversarial approach to divorce.

ROAD to RESOLUTION offers a series of collaborative services -- all of which are facilitated on an individual basis and designed to meet you where you are in the process. As we partner with you and grow to understand your unique situation, we work to provide you with the tools and resources you need to work collaboratively and with the goal of creating an enduring agreement.
Like many before me, I thought my marriage would last forever. When it came down to it, my decision to divorce was not a sudden realization -- it was a journey. The path I would end up taking would prove to be tumultuous and adversarial. Before heading down this path, I met with an attorney for pre-divorce education.
Fortunately, in North Carolina, you can work through a divorce and all of the legal issues surrounding it without stepping into a courtroom. This provides you and your spouse an opportunity to work together to decide what custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution of your assets and debts will look like for your family, rather than having a judge make those decisions for you.

Robin assisted me with a prenuptial agreement. She was very responsive, patient, and had my best interest at heart when going through the process. She was able to explain legal lingo in a way that was easy to understand which was very helpful. Our agreement was quite difficult to begin with and when finalized was fair and beneficial for both parties. This was the first step towards a successful marriage and I could not have done it without her.

Though my divorce was finalized during the last months of 2020 it has taken a while to regain traction to face my new life. Robin was amazing from day one and really exceeded all expectations I had! She was always concerned finding a peaceful resolution with the least time spent, and therefore the least amount of out of pocket expense. This was completely different from what people told me to expect, but she never wavered. My case involved resolving the custody of my son and it left me with a heightened state of emotions at times (to say the least).
