SNG Chimney Sweep specializes in bringing your chimney back after a chimney fire. Below are pictures of chimneys that have not had regular chimney inspection and cleanings. The first picture is on a chimney that has mass amounts of creosote. Creosote results from years of deposits from burning fires with out cleaning.
Chimney Swifts are birds that tend to inhabit chimneys between April and August. Although we do extractions of animals, Chimney Swifts are a protected species and once settled into your chimney, it is illegal to remove them. Some unscrupulous chimney companies will still do it, but it is against the law.
SNG Chimney performs a wide range of masonry repair, brick repair, tuck pointing, back walls, fireplace floor repair, and crown repair. One of the biggest reasons that chimneys leak is a damaged crown. The crown is the cement or concrete top of the chimney. We now repair the crown with Mortar Preserve.

The guys called in advance to ask if it was ok to come earlier than scheduled, which I didn't have a problem with. They were very professional, had everything they needed, explained what they'd be doing, and thoroughly cleaned my two chimneys and fireplaces at a very reasonable fee. Very happy with SNG's service.

Guys showed up on time. However, they didn't bring their own shovel to clean out the ashes, used the one from my fireplace decorative set. They didn't bring anything to put the ashes into for removal, I had to provide a trash bag. They didn't entirely clean all the ashes out from the fireplace. The remaining ashes, they opened the ash dump door and swept the remainder in there. I asked if they were going to clean the ashes out from the exterior clean out door...he replied that there wasn't that much, didn't need to. Okay, they may have not swept that much down but, there's no way to know how much

SNG Chimney is old school in their dedication to customers. I recently scheduled a cleaning and inspection and when the crown and cap were needing repair/replacement they offered to either reschedule or complete the work immediately. I had taken time from work that day so I opted for immediate repair which they completed professionally and efficiently. I heard them calling the next customer to communicate the new timeframe which was still within the window of time scheduled.
