When I started J&J Landscape with a friend back in 2004, I saw a need for high-quality, specialized landscape care here in the Bellingham area. With my horticulture degree and experience in maintenance and irrigation, I decided that bringing specialized expertise to residential lawn care could really change the way that people think about landscaping.
There is an art to running a small business, and I have learned a lot about my employees, my customers and myself over these years of service! Whether it's adding curb appeal to a home, planting trees to improve the surrounding environment, or even building new walls and other hardscape to improve the function of a space, I am always surprised by the creativity that landscaping can bring out in myself and the people I work with.

Jon Hill, our founder, holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Oregon State University. He's applied his skills while on landscaping teams at the Semiahmoo and Loomis Trail Golf Courses. He brings these expertise to each and every job site and client consultation. We are here for you and we put you first.
We are a full-service landscaping company. That means that weekly lawn maintenance is just one of the things we can do for you. We've got the expertise, the manpower and the equipment to fully transform your green space into a remarkable and appealing outdoor living space. J&L Landscape originally installed the sprinkler system in our home and since we've lived here, Jon has been very attentive to its maintenance which includes winterizing and then resetting the schedule for the spring and summer. He promptly responds to all calls and shows up when he says he'll show up. Can't say enough!
