At Home Companions is licensed as a Healthcare Service Firm by the NJ Board of Nursing. We are bonded and insured in the State of NJ. At Home Companions prides itself on the level of care provided directly to our clients but also to the family members involved with the client services.
Living in your own home in your later years should be an option that all seniors can consider. Unfortunately, as we become susceptible to the limitations of aging, activities that were once easy, enjoyable, and necessary become difficult, if not impossible. When the activities of daily living become difficult or overwhelming, you need someone to help out.

We have been working with At Home Companions for many years. During that time, it has provided, without a hiccup, full time live-in, short term, hourly, night time, driver, shopping, and relief coverage for our aged and presently infirm parent. Agency staff has been faithful, honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, very professional, responsive, and extremely comfortable to work with.
As we live a six hour drive away, we felt very lucky to have found an agency that was dependable and willing to keep us closely informed, communicating the ups and downs.

I cannot recommend this agency enough. I set up care for my 93 year old grandfather with a different agency originally and had nothing but bad experiences. His aide was always being switched and at least once a week they didn’t show up. We switched to At Home Companions and I couldn’t be happier. Our aide is wonderful. She always shows up and the agency is so communicative. I’m so glad I was referred to them.

At Home Companions is an exceptional agency. They were the agency we used for the last two years of my father's life as he suffered from dementia. Stacy, the agency owner, is both a manager and a licensed social worker. She had to wear both hats to provide the best personnel to deal with my VERY DIFFICULT mother. My 86 year-old mom insisted my father be cared for at home even after he was 100% bedridden. She clearly needed around the clock assistance, but she valued her privacy and her control and she would not accept live-in help because she "didn't want somebody else always in her house". AHC

What can I say? Just the most amazing group of caring people we could ever ask for. The staff and my mom's current companion are outstanding. At 93 she gets around but still needs help with the essentials and we could not ask for more. My mom is happy, and that's the most important thing of all. Thank you Stacey and all of the staff you do a great job!!!

I strongly recommend the services of At Home Companions. Stacey is a very smart and compassionate business owner. She personally comes to your home to meet the client and family to get the best understanding of what is needed. My mother has had the same caregiver, Bobbi, for 5 years. My mom can be quite the challenge for anyone and Bobbi has been spectacular. Stacey has always been available to talk and give guidance whenever an issue arrose. At Home Companions has been invaluable.

I highly recommend At Home Companions. Stacey, the owner and operator, truly cares about her clients and follows up to make sure everything is going well. The entire staff has been extremely helpful and available when needed. We used At Home Companions for almost 10 years for my mother so we could keep her in her own home for as long as possible.
