Services
Weather you have a working plan in hand or are starting with only a piece of bare ground, Dana Construction will assist you in design, budget and construction of the custom home. This type of home makes up the majority of our business and is quite frankly our specialty. The daily attention to detail both on the job and with the client is what make a custom home truly custom.
Over the past couple of decades I have built a number of houses in multiple states, all with different contractors. My experience with each general contractor was different and not until I came to North Idaho to build my home in The Club at Black Rock was I able to use the very best I have ever hired.
I have been working in the custom home industry since 1991 and have worked with hundreds of home owners from the stand point of a supplier, sub contractor, and working as their general contractor. I worked as a Contractor Salesman for 13 years selling to and servicing over fifty general contractors and working with their clients.

He then Asked me to send him some other information and that he would get back to me in a couple weeks. I was excited to know I'd found someone local to do our addition. A week later I came home to drawings at my front door and a note to call him. Again, very excited to talk with him and

John is finishing a custom timber frame build for us. We have been working with him for almost 2 years from the design phase through construction. He was honest up front about the costs to build what we were looking at and worked with us for possible budget alternatives. He handled all of the interactions on any design questions or changes with the timber frame company and traveled to see their site and operations first to ensure that everything met his and our quality standards. We were remote and he handled all of the little things that came up and researched options as we went along, presenting
