Services
St. Mark Preschool is a well-established licensed preschool for families with children ages 12 months to kindergarten. We are located on 3942 La Colina Road near Hope Elementary School. We provide a safe and loving environment where the children can develop a sense of trust and appreciation of their world.
Play is an essential part of learning. Children are encouraged to discover answers, properties, relationships, skills, and concepts for themselves through hands-on activities, all while freely tapping into the world of creativity and imagination. Our outstanding team of educators brings a warmth and energy to the day encouraging social development, necessary for supporting communication and cooperation skills with others.
St. Mark Preschool is a well-established year-round preschool located in the San Roque neighborhood next to Hope School in the beautiful foothills of Santa Barbara. We serve families with children ages 12 months to 5 years. We have a large outdoor play area with plenty of shade and a sandbox, climbing structure, playhouse, creek, labyrinth, swings, and even an open-air aviary.
Please contact our director for any questions. The children actively engage with their teachers and peers. The teacher-child interactions are warm and stimulating. There is an eagerness to problem solve and experiment with cause and effect. There are two classes with 6-8 children, with a team of two teachers in each class.
Our preschool plays an integral role in the ministry of St. Mark United Methodist Church and is a celebrated resource within our community. We encourage each child to discover the world through hands-on learning and the richness of open-ended play. This creates a solid foundation for their formal education and a love of learning in the years to come.

My oldest son went here for 3yrs, my middle son is most of the way through his 2nd yr and will be entering the pre-k class next yr. I am happy to say my baby girl will be starting in the infant program later this summer. This school is amazing and has been nothing but kind an caring to not only my children but our family as a whole. I highly recommend this school to any and everyone i know.
