Boise Cascade and Watt establish a partnership in which Cascade acquires 50% of Watt's assets and begins operating under the name Boise Cascade Building Company. After joining Watt in 1976 as Senior Vice President of Forward Planning, Scott Watt is now the company's Chairman. Prior to joining, Scott founded and led Scottfield Building Corporation, a company that built more than 1,000 residential units and a shopping center during its six year history. During his time as SVP of Forward Planning, Scott completed $50 million in office buildings, shopping centers and industrial building development.
Watt works with many partners and affiliates - homebuyers, tenants, employees, investors and the communities in which we operate - to create supportive and mutually rewarding partnerships. On these pages you will find the names of a selection of our joint venture and capital partners, both past and present, and links to their websites should you wish to find out more.
As part of our continuous efforts in, and commitment to, community development, Watt is proud to contribute to and support the areas in which we operate through donations or participation in voluntary work with charitable organizations. Watt and Watt employees enjoy being involved with organizations that positively influence our neighborhoods as we believe it further strengthens the foundations of the communities we develop.
