CAREGIVERS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit organization established in Ventura County in 1984 with the interfaith community. We are supported by the generosity of individuals, United Way, foundation grants, corporations, churches and civic organizations. CAREGIVERS programs are carried out by close to 400 giving, caring volunteers who are recruited and trained from our local community.

Visit our Zazzle Store where we have created custom designed products-The Perfect Gift for the Volunteers & Seniors in your life! Last year, generous community support made it possible for CAREGIVERS to provide over 70,000 hours of personal service, and 6,000 automobile trips for.
Services
Founded in 1984 with a grant from the Interfaith Council on Aging and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet developed a community-based model to meet a growing need in the United States. Today, CAREGIVERS serves hundreds of seniors throughout all of Ventura County - one of the largest aging populations in the Nation!
Out of the goodness of our hearts, sometimes the most simple acts of kindness can have the greatest impact on a person's life. CAREGIVERS intergenerational program "Building Bridges" brings high school students into the homes of frail elders to visit and to assist them. Under adult supervision at all times, students do the more physically demanding tasks.
Building Bridges, our intergenerational program, was established in 1992 with funding from foundations like Archstone, Harriet Samuelsson, and Weingart in addition to gifts from individual donors. Today, the Building Bridges Program is going strong with high school students visiting seniors every day after school.

I have asked twice for a copy of paperwork I signed originally, which they have never sent. I think they should be investigated for fraud for misrepresenting the role of friendly visitors.
The only reason they are
