The Wellwood

This was our first time there. It is a beautiful historical building and was decorated perfectly for the holiday season. The staff was knowledgeable and polite. The server Diana we had did an outstanding job explaining anything we asked. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and the meal was outstanding. Lots of food for your money. Would recommend 100%. Can't wait to go back.

Really nice place for the Cecil County Harvest Festival.
Parking was a bit tight.
The owner and staff were gracious and helpful at every turn. AND he promised to work in more local fare to his menu.
The chicken they served came from the Cecil County School of Technology Ag department. It was good.
We also liked the local wine.
Fun night with good food and entertainment.

Really great food, drinks and atmosphere! Located in a super cute town, the menu had so many options it was hard to choose. I left very satisfied and will definitely be back again.

Thanks Paul Campbell for being a great server! From the crab bisque, fried green tomatoes with crab and corn salsa to the main course of apple-garlic rotisserie chicken, crab cakes, seafood platter...delicious 😋 Ambience was all that!!

First time here and what an experience it was. Paul was our server provided excellent customer service and the food was sooooo good!! Definitely will be back. Love that it's fine dining also the atmosphere was wonderful

All you can eat is what it literally means!!!! It kept coming and coming.The crabs were huge and juicy and it comes with the yummiest chicken!!!!, hush puppies, corn on the cob and crinkle French fries. The service was amazingly quick and the ambience kinda took you to krusty krab lol!
Definitely worth the spend and you need to plan on hanging out for at least 2 hours. Oooouuu before I forget, I had probably the best Moscow mule here.

We had a wedding on May 15 of 2021 it went perfectly well the staff was excellent and seeing to our every need the director of it was Angela Hackman He had made sure every last little detail was taken care of. At the last minute we found out that some of our guest had special dietary requests. With no notice, Angela made it happen instantly. I would highly recommend this place for any special event. When planning this wedding and reception she had three beautiful sites that we could use we chose one with which had a place for the bride to get dressed overlooking the water it was just Beautiful

I really enjoyed everything except the lobster.
The most expensive and the thing I went there fore...was bad.
It was mushy. Obviously the lobster had been dead before processing.
I didn't complain. My husband drove her at my insistence so I didn't want to upset him. I just gagged down the mush. Scallops were tender
The shrimp crab cocktail was good but I wasn't thrilled with the crab. The shrimp was jumbo and yummy. The cocktail sauce was superb.
I LOVED the house dressing on the salad.
The croissants were flaky and just WOW
Hubby liked his steak grill.
He ate it all and wasnt feeling well

Sat at the bar on a cool December Sunday afternoon. Pictured here is the spicy chicken Sammy with fries and coleslaw. Service was fast and friendly. The men's room was spotless. The sandwich was fantastic. It had sweet dill pickles on it which was a surprise. I'll make another stop to try the prime rib that another patron recommended.

My first time there. Had the all you can eat crabs, corn, chicken, hush puppies. Best crabs I have had all season. Nice and full seasoned just right. My friend had as she said the best bloody Marys. Desert was peach cobbler awesome, bananas Wellwood she said they were delicious. The waitress was just the best, the manager also made sure he went to every table.

Service was phenomenal! The complimentary warm bread was to die for! The appetizers were on point! If your a seafood fan try the crab dip, and firecracker shrimp they were beyond delicious! I wasn't impressed with a suggested side by our waitress... squash creole. It was way to sweet and lacked that kick creole dishes normally have. Overall, a great tasty gem hidden away in a small town and must try!
