At Andy Mountain, we pride ourselves on our rich history proudly set in the beautiful state of Iowa. We trace our history all the way back to the 1940s when Bob and Mae Daubendiek purchased 65 acres of land and began clearing the property. In 1962, the Daubendiek's only child, Andy Robert, tragically passed away while working the land.
Whether you are looking forward to your first-time staying in a cabin or you have stayed in one before, we know you will feel right at home in our fully-equipped cabins at Andy Mountain. Our cabins allow you to have the perfect place to camp in comfort. We welcome you to bring your family, friends, or even coworkers for a fun business retreat.
Come park your RV at our fully- functional RV park and experience all the fun a trip to Andy Mountain has to offer. We offer complete hookups as well as electrical outlets, an up-to-date electrical and sewage system. Whether you are just passing through the area or are joining us for a more extended visit; there is a variety of things to do at Andy Mountain.

Cannot say enough about this place! CLEAN, close to all the areas places of interest, affordable, and good people! Planned a last minute trip to the area in Iowa, as we all know last minute things do not always work out but our stay was great. Andy Mountain Cabins helped make the trip a success! Definitely come back if we ever make it to that area of the country again!!

Awesome roomy cabins, kitchen, living, sleeping area and bathroom. TV, internet but not needed. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. It's near the river and public boat landing. There's all kinds of state parks and fishing areas nearby. It's a little slice of paradise and less than the cost of a hotel room.

The cabins are very functional. They did a good job decorating them. Very woodsy feel. There isn't an oven but they do have a Pizzaz which worked out great. There is a charcoal grill that looked useable, we didn't try it. Fridge and stove top worked fine. There are pots, pans, dishes etc. They also have extra blankets and pamphlets about things to do in the area. The main living space has a good amount of room. The bedrooms are upstairs. Watch out for the low ceiling. There is a side porch that fits two people. They offer Wi-Fi, they ask you not stream or risk being disconnected. We played Amazon
