Services
Our mission is to provide exceptional patient care in a friendly, caring, and enjoyable environment. Patient satisfaction is our number one priority, and is the key ingredient to achieve success. Excellence in everything we do is standard. We treat a wide range of orthodontic problems, ranging from mild malocclusions to severe skeletal irregularities.
Dr. Andrew Kouvaris is a native of San Jose where he attended Lynbrook High School and Santa Clara University. He studied at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and was named his class Valedictorian. He next entered the graduate program to study orthodontics, and received a Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a certificate of specialization in orthodontics.
An orthodontist is a dentist who specializes in diagnosing and treating malocclusions, which are mis-alignments of the teeth, jaws, or both. Following dental school, an orthodontist completes 2-3 years of full-time additional training under the direct supervision of experienced orthodontists. If they pass the training, they receive a specialty certificate in orthodontics.
Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry specializing in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of jaw, face and bite irregularities (malocclusion). Orthodontic treatment is provided by an oral health care provider known as an Orthodontist, who has typically completed two to three years of additional training beyond dental school.
The initial visit usually requires a half hour and is complimentary. During that time Dr. Kouvaris will conduct a comprehensive clinical evaluation. For our patients who are children, this is when we'll determine if the time is appropriate to begin treatment, or if treatment should be delayed until further growth and dental development occur.

We were so lucky to find Dr. Kouvaris for my daughter, Stella! She had a lot of dental issues because her mouth is so small. He used his professional creativity to come up with a personalised plan to fix my daughter's issues. Not only is he brilliant but he is kind and down to earth. (That is important when you have to see your orthodontist every month for years!). He works really well with both kids & adults. He makes sure everyone understands what he's doing (and makes it not so scary for the little ones). He also goes above & beyond for his patients...there was a time that my daughter had an
