Services
Rose City Laboratories' DIY send-in test kits give you the tools you need to get a preliminary assessment of your homes' risk of exposure to radon gas or asbestos*. Each home kit comes with all the supplies necessary to take a sample and send it into our fully accredited lab. Testing fees are included for your (1) sample.
Asbestos has been used in fabrics and building materials throughout history. It has long been known for its fire resistant properties as well as its severe health risks. The name refers to naturally occurring materials made of of thin, microscopic silicate fibers. The six common types of asbestos are: Chrysotile, Actinolite, Amosite, Anthophyllite, Crocidolite, and Tremolite.
Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. It is a colorless, odorless, radioactive gas that comes from decomposing uranium in the soil. Radon can escape from the ground into your home. It can also be present in your water supply. Testing is the only way to detect harmful levels.

Not enough radon testing has been done to know what the actual risk is in much of the state but the areas with the highest known risk are in NW Oregon, including the Columbia Gorge and Willamette River Valley. The geology for Eastern Oregon would suggest a high risk for radon exposure too, but more data is required.
Although public water supplies are tested regularly, contaminants in drinking water can come from inside the home's pipelines. Lead, arsenic, copper, and other substances can leach into drinking water and can cause serious health issues. The EPA recommends a yearly water quality test, which should include tests for total coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH levels.
Do you need a method for identifying potential sources of microbial contamination in your facility? Plant pathogens can infect crops at the roots, crown, and foliage, reducing their ability to grow. Molds can also colonize the cannabis flower during development or after harvest, which can compromise quality and pose a health risk to consumers.

Simply unprofessional - go anywhere else if you want to be treated with respect.

The staff is rude and unorganized, I couldn't believe how I was treated. If they're this rude to your face, I would hate to imagine how they are behind closed doors.

These guys tested my product and must have completely forged the analytical results. I got it retested at two other labs a bit further away and they were extremely far from the results I got here. Sounds like this lab is just making a quick buck, will not return. AVOID FRAUDULENT LAB PRACTICES
See attached image. Nearly 34% THC? Literally impossible and I have had other labs confirm. Much more informed scientists laugh at this CoA.

We've worked with Rose City Labs for almost 5 years. We've seen them strive to provide higher and higher quality services and they're delivering. For example, they've invested in the right equipment, they have called us to ask questions and verify information, they help us stay compliant. They respond quickly when we have questions. They're always on time, have great communication for their arrival times and they've been flexible within reason with us when we're off schedule. They're efficient. They train new people well. Their employees say good things about them behind their back. Christian's

We paid almost $1,400.00 for OLCC compliant testing and they lost our results on 2 of 6 separate batches for tests they completed but somehow the 2 were never submitted. Now they will NOT retest or refund our money. Owner told me "there is nothing they can do for us". Here is 1 of the 2 results that were never performed supposedly... lucky for us it is only the trim but their unwillingness to try to resolve the problem has ended our business relations. Seriously bad business going on here!
