I went here for the first time last year to get a routine cleaning, they did x-rays where I was told that I had several cavities 9 to be exact and that I needed a deep cleaning because I have gingivitis. Right after that she tells me how I have great insurance and that they cover a lot of my work that I need to have done. So right then and there I knew what type of dental office this was. I never mentioned to her that I was a former dental assistant, and that as I'm looking at my x-rays I don't see all these cavities that she's telling me I have. They didn't even clean

Thought I found a good dentist with Dr Martin. But it was not meant to be. I had two root canals done, along with two crowns, by Dr Martin. I've had many root canals done in the past so I knew what to expect. A few weeks after, I went back to Dr Martin and indicated I was still experiencing some pain. He said it would take months to heal and that was normal. I said I'd had several root canals done in the past and never experienced this. He said it was normal. I didn't really believe him but I'm not a dentist so what was I to do? About 8 months later, I decided to go

My husband and I used to go to Fearless Dental, but not anymore. They have cancelled on me twice now and it is difficult for me to reschedule because I travel with my job. The first time it was because their office decided to close every other Friday, so instead of scheduling me someplace soon since I had already been on the schedule 6 months, they rescheduled me for 2 months out which put me behind in my bi-annual cleanings. Today they called to reschedule again with the excuse that it was Memorial Day weekend and they would be unavailable, ALSO, she said that the hygienist was no longer going

I've never followed a health professional from one practice to another but Dr. Martin is the man! We were really bummed to find out that he had sold his practice in Uptown. My wife had time during the summer and stalked him down and found him in Red Oak. So, for a couple years we would drive from Oak Cliff to Red Oak for our appointment. But, since we moved to Waxahachie, he is right down the road. That's how good this dentist is. Not only is he he a gentle, competent dentist but he is also a kind, decent person. I cannot recommend him enough.

I have heard some nightmare dentist stories from people over the years. Seems like everyone has one. Lucky for me, I don't. Why, you may ask? Well, because my dentist doesn't believe in pain. Woohoo!!
Dr. Wald is Awesome (that's right, with a capital A). She's funny as hell, genuinely caring, and very, very good at her job. I am in pretty great shape since she put sealants on my molars several years ago, but I constantly recommend her to people who have had bad experiences or anxiety about needing dental work because she is really good about that sort of thing.
