I'm originally from Moore County but I currently reside in Apex, NC. I love the Apex community and I've found it a great place to start my small business and raise my family. It's always been important to me to support and give back to my community as much as I can. Outside of the office, my husband, Douglas, and I are Mentor Coaches at Apex Friendship High School (AFHS) for the DECA program.
As a small business owner myself, I support and shop at local, small businesses in Apex and surrounding Wake County communities. I also enjoy participating with neighbors in the Town of Apex Soccer League. I attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where I received my English degree. I began my career with State Farm Insurance in 2002 working as a team member in another State Farm agent's office.

Let's face it no one like insurance, but it is very necessary evil :-) But all the fun aside, I can't tell you how impressed and extremely appreciative I am of Amy, Peyton and Candice and of course State Farm products. I recently moved my car policies from All State to State Farm and it is like caulk & cheese.
Peyton took care of everything and we were able to save over $600 on our premiums a year. I have been talking with Amy about Life insurance and saving for retirement and she is extremely knowledge and gave me two books to read as I am trying to find solutions to where I am not paying tax

We are new to the area and Amy and her agency were recommended to us by our former agent and we couldn't be happier. The process of insuring our new home has been seamless and the transfer of our auto and life insurance has been smooth as well. Big shout out for State Farm and everyone in it -- my business liability insurance is with them and my husband has been with them for 30 years -- they have always had his back when he needed something -- great customer service and in 2017 he had a major bike accident and State Farm was very supportive and paid out in less than a month! I've known Amy for close to 12 years. She is the consummate professional. She is responsive, attentive, and has built an incredible team around her that exemplify the values that she wants her agency to represent. Recently, my mother relocated to Apex and when she needed an agent, I suggested Amy. After her first visit, my mom was thrilled and bragged about Amy and her staff of professionals. When you live over 600 miles from your parent, it makes it easier knowing that someone like Amy is looking out for your mother like she would look out for her own parent.
