Was taken back by PA about 20 minutes after my appt time which wasn’t bad. She didn’t introduce herself though which put a bad taste in my mouth, especially since I was not allowed to see the surgeon. Guess she weeds folks out. Will be having a hip replacement. Would have liked to have seen x-rays. Don’t like the idea of not meeting the surgeon prior to surgery. I think that is a very bad practice, as I like to be as involved as possible with my care. She was thorough though. Not overly friendly.

I came to Dr. Shelley as a new patient in bad shape. I was in need of some care dealing with my knee pain. I had a total knee replacement two years prior but could not understand why the knee was still hurting. Dr. Shelley ran some test and found out that I needed a revision knee surgery. I recommend Dr. Shelley to everyone you want be disappointed, he has very very good bed side manners, he listens and had very good knowledge of what was going on in my situation. I want to say Dr. Shelley you are a god sent, I'M forever grateful. I'm on my way to recovery. Thank you so much!!

Lyle and Dr. Palmer are very professional and knowledgeable regarding care in their specialty. Their bedside manner surpasses most. They speak to you with such kindness it makes you feel at ease immediately. The staff at the surgical center surpasses all! They were a wonderful and cohesive team that helped rid you of any anxiety prior to your procedure.

Highly recommend this practice! Well run, efficient, professional, and helped me get on a path of healing right away — from the moment of diagnosis. The entire practice, from the administrative staff to the medical providers and therapy team, Optim treated me with precision, excellent care, compassion, expert therapy, professional and kind service, and an overall “we’re on your team” approach. While no one welcomes an unexpected surgery from a trauma, Optim understands how to help people get back on the road to recovery.

I would highly recommend the Optim Orthopedic Team to everyone. The staff is super friendly. The facilities are top-notch. Dr Goldberg and My Therapist Joel are making the very best of what would have otherwise been a totally dreadful situation. Their care, excellence and kindness changes everything!
