I Was A Patient Here I Arrived 12/03/21 And I Saw Doctors Calling Patients Out Their Name They Were Even Jumping At Them And Talking To Them With No Respect They Over Due The Medicine On Top Of That They Never Wanted To Do Their Jobs So Many Lazy People There I Can Say An Worker Named Kasidy Or Kasey I Believe Was So Helpful She’s Lovely She Made Me Feel More Comfortable In There…WE NEVER GET TO SEE OUR REAL DOCTOR ONLY THEIR ASSISTANT HOW COME A DOCTOR THAT NEVER SEEN YOU OR BARELY KNOW WHY YOURE IN THERE GET TO MAKE A DECISION FOR YOU TO GO HOME OR NOT!

My father, an elderly Alzheimer’s patient, was admitted on 1/2/21 at 1am from Kendall Regional, a nightmare facility, and as of Tuesday, 1/4, we have yet to speak to a doctor or a social worker. We have called and left messages and we have yet to receive a call from them. Apparently you have prescribed a medicine that, according to what I read online, is NOT approved to be used on elderly dementia patients.
On the occasion that someone does answer the phone, the horses have been somewhat helpful.

My mother was sent there from Kendall Regional and honestly this is probably the only reason they see patients. Terrible place and completely irresponsible with their patients. They tried sending my mother home on multiple occasions even a day after I was called and told that she hadn't taken her medication and she wasn't speaking. They discharged her still Ill and not even able to even take her own medication. No plans for a nurse or for care because she lives alone. She was also sent home with someone else's belongings and didn't even have the key to get into her home. I don't understand how

I don't know how to rate this hospital. I was not allowed to visit at all when my mother was there. One day they just suddenly called that she was being discharged. I have a feeling the insurance didn't cover any more days. She came home exactly the same way. Crisis after crisis. Didn't even meet any of the doctors, or nurses. Not sure if this is a safe place or not.

My Grandmother Olivia Dorta was there recently for a Week and we thought that She was well taking care of, but we found out after She was discharged, that the place is a mess. They constantly lied about her condition, they changed medications without letting us know, they lost some of her belongings including her eye glasses, etc. She returned home in a worse condition than she was before going there. WOW!

My son was transferred there from another hospital (Kendall Regional) because they did not have any beds. I'm very disappointed with the care my son received first of all the week that he was there not once did the psychiatrist see him. It was always the assistant. The assistant would see him for about 10 seconds! After a week he was discharged and sent home! The very next day, he started having another crisis! How could they have sent him home when he was not well! Avoid this place at all costs! My son is currently in another psychiatrist hospital and hopefully getting better treatment! Our love

My Husband was a patient at Southern Winds, I can say that the patient care was excellent. The Nurses and Doctors were caring and compassionate. The Therapist were excellent, case management was very helpful. The food was excellent. Overall the attention that we received from the staff was amazing. I would personally recommend this hospital to anyone that has a family member with mental health problems,
