Founded in 1979 and located in Berrien Center, Michigan, Five Pines Ministries is a non-denominational Christian summer day camp and retreat center. We reach out, challenge youth, and change lives through Jesus Christ. It is our desire that every person who comes to us would be challenged to grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

I loved how both my children came home excited. They experienced new things and were able to grow in a Christian, social setting that they don't normally get because they are homeschooled. I also appreciate that they are hearing a consistent Gospel message from somewhere other than home and church.
Services
Five Pines Ministries is a non-denominational summer day camp, retreat center, and Christian discipleship ministry, motivated by the mission, "Reaching Out, Challenging Youth, Changing Lives through Jesus Christ." Five Pines Ministries exists to provide our guests-especially youth-with the experience of the abundant life through experiential education, discipleship, evangelistic outreach opportunities, and Christian hospitality.
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality.
Summer Camp at Five Pines Ministries is a time for incredible fun, experiential learning, and relationship building. Kids enjoy fun, age appropriate activities and learn the truths of God's Word through bible lessons, nature experiences, and relationships with counselors and peers. Scholarships are available to those who need it.
Five Pines Live (5PL) is a youth group type ministry that meets 6-8:00 pm, first and third Thursdays of every month, starting at the end of September and running through the beginning of May. At 5PL, we hang out, play games, worship, and learn more about Christian living.

The mission of Life is to be a safe place where high school students engage in authentic relationships, fun, and Biblical learning, with a view toward growing in their relationship with Christ. The ministry of 5PL has sprung from the original work of our founders, Jim and Judy Scofield, who originally opened their home to local teens - providing a safe place to be encouraged in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We had a great day at 5 pines today. The staff were really helpful and made another great experience for my wife. She is in a wheelchair but they were willing to use a gator to pull her up the hill so I only had to transfer her once to the tub. Allowing us to have many more trips down the hill than I could have physically done without their help. Also Many thank to them for helping us in general, a few other sledding places just flat out told us no because of her abilities and we got a sorry.

My family, friends, and I had the most wonderful experience tubing at Five Pines. My friend is in a wheelchair and her husband is always trying to find ways to make new fun experiences for her that normally she wouldn't be able to do. This time he wanted to take her sledding. He called many places before finding this treasure and every denied him right away didn't even give it any thought and told him there was no way that it can be done. He finally found Five Pines and gave them a call the guy he talked to was immediately all for it. He said "we've never done it before but we have a gator and

Very awesome & fun place for sledding. My family & I had a blast!
The staff there are very nice & accommodating with me being in a wheelchair. I was able to go sledding safely & Nate helped pull me back up the hill so I could join the rest of my family to slide down again!
Definitely can't wait to go back again!

5 slides to use with the tubes which are included in your ticket price. Great for kids and adults of all ages. It is an easy walk back up to the top of the hill if you use the rope to help keep your balance.

I came here on a Southwestern Michigan College trip to go tubing. I thought there was going to be more to it, but overall it is a nice place. The tubing is really fun and you can even race people. When you want to warm up, there's a cozy lodge with games and food.
